"Whether it was her parents or her Sire or the mores of her time.. it was just training."

"And what do you do to get rid of the fear?"

He almost smiled.

"I thought I was doing that. She was getting.. confidant. And then... Serena."

He sighed.

"Serena seems to be nothing but a problem. For me."

He said nothing but he really wished to. Instead he just let his father pet his hair. Yes, keeping his mouth shut seemed the best idea.

"May I ask how you heard by the way father?"

He was hedging... because he (very obviously) didn't want to answer that question.

He looked at his father.

"I am curious. I would appreciate if you told me. It would.. calm my nerves a little i am sure."

He raised an eyebrow and sprang upright.

"How is she? How is she doing? Is she okay?"

He looked at him.

"How is she doing.. exactly..? Please..."

"She is very upset. It was Areron who explained the odd behavior, but she is... not well."

He nodded. He was quiet thinking. If she was upset, she wasnt over him. She still wanted him.
