"Yes. I agree. However, when it comes to a situation like this? It's better to know."

He sighed.

"There are some things I cannot talk about. Just say that I was trying to be responsible and she thought i was picking Serena over her."

She frowned.

"That is a big problem."

He nodded.

"It is. And then she left. And I have no idea what to do."

"Which of you were wrong?"

He bit his lip. It was something Ra'isah would have done, and he didnt even realize he was doing it. And he was always aware of everything his body did. It was part of Frederico's training.

"Both of us. But I will take it all if she will just come back to me."

"Have you spoken to her at all?"

"I have tried. There are...buffers in between us. And she is not answering my calls. I have been trying to find her. I will find her and talk to her. This just happened last night."

Her brows rose.

"Human buffers or mechanical ones?"

"Both."

He looked down.

"What human buffers? I could have an emergency and call them away."

He smiled and shook his head.

"Thank you but no. She has them in place. They are her friends. I cannot... this has to be her choice as well as mine."

He nodded and then asked.

He stepped into the room, one perfectly manicured brow arched.

"Of course she has not."

He turned to look at his father and then walked over to him. he bowed his head a little.

"Hello... father."

He reached out and put his hand on Estaban's shoulder.

"Hello, Estaban."

But that was all he said.

His head went down looking at the floor.

"I am not giving up father.. I still love her."

He looked up at his father now.

"You will forgive me if I disagree, father?"

He nodded and looked into his fathers eyes. He had still not been given permission to hug the man.

"Thank you. It is all I could hope for at this time. I.. oh god father, this hurts."

He nodded slowly.

Still no hint. Fuck. He moved forward and hugged the man unless he called for a stop.
