He smiled and ruffled his son's hair.

"Because I think I have. Nothing to fret over."

He shook his head.

"Father you cannot just say that. Please.. talk to me. I want to make sure you understand.. I will always be your son and love you, father."

"You hardly listen to me anymore, Estaban. It's of little matter, but it does matter."

He looked at his father and then lowered his eyes.

"I am sorry if it feels like I do not listen to you. I do not mean to be hard headed."

"Yes, you do. What else did I expect? You're pretty much a teenager, I expect some rebellion."

He smiled at that.

"And will you forgive me, someday?"

"Of course."

"Good. And just so you know father, you have never lost me. I still love you and always will. You brought me into this world and gave me rebirth."

He raised an eyebrow.

"I would disagree you are in the top of that 5, very near the top."

He smiled at the man.

"where do I go when I am sad, when i need my heart unbroken, when i need confidence or advice? over the last two years, hasnt it always been to you?"

He shrugged.

"Not true. you are tied for first."

He actually barked a laugh.

"Such sweet things you say. And none of them true."

He smiled.

"They are true father. Maybe i am not proving them by playing with you. but they are true."

He smiled at his father, yes and at the sister on his lap.

"Any actions I can give you other than sex right now?"

"Right now? No. I'm speaking of your actions in general, over the past couple of years. You cannot undo that, not even with sex, in one encounter."

"so because I love Ra'idah I do not love you any more?"
