"I don't know I just do. What... what if something happens and we can't follow through?"

Alex would kill her if he heard her speaking like that. But the Rose was paranoid. Nothing ever went the way it was supposed to.

"You can't know if that will happen or if it wont happen. Just go with the flow on this one? In the end, you still have each other. Though I'm pretty sure, you're going to have a lovely wedding that you'll remember for centuries..." Teddy reassured her.

Cass nodded and smiled, trying to push the fear down as far as it would go and stomp on it. She knew she was being totally irrational. "Well, there will be plenty of potatoes for everyone."

"Eh?"
Yeah, just eh. She had no clue what she meant with potatoes.

"I think we decided on Irish fare for the food. All of it will be edible for all kindred."

"Yeah? Mmm.... Irish?" she seemed to think about it for a few moments before smirking. "Yeah I can see where the potatoes comes in" the blond laughed.

"Hey, Greek was mentioned, too," she smiled. "But I figure, with all the Irish and Scots in the domain, what the hell? I can't really remember what food tastes like anyway."

"Heh, I bake and cook all the time. And I have no clue how half of it's suppose to taste like. I cook based on smell and what few memories I do have of things. But, heh, considering where I grew up? I haven't ever even tried half the stuff I make" silly little truth there, though she was okay with it.

"Just on smell? I mean, I know the taste buds are connected to scent," she shrugged a little. "What's it like to cook like that?"

"It's... special" she wasn't quite sure how to explain it. "I got pretty keen senses actually, I guess I just try to logically think about what scent would go together, and from there deduct what tastes would go together. That and reading cooking books does help a lot" she smirked.

"I actually bought some cookbooks," she chuckled. "Um... I found a French one for cheap. I don't know half of the stuff they're talking about in it.."

"Doooo you speak French? I hear that helps" the blond couldn't help but snicker.

"I do, actually," heh, yeah... "But... I mean... frog's legs?"

"Hey, entrails in entrails with spices. And you think frogs legs are weird?" Jamie was Scottish remember?

Well, Cass was part Scottish, too... But... yuck... yuck, yuck, yuck... "Hey, I'm American... but do you think I have ever eaten Rocky Mountain Oysters?!" Re: bull testicles.

"What do I know?" she laughed. "You're from the South!" Re: you're all nuts anyways.

"Nope," she grinned at Teddy, her usual southern accent morphing into almost a New York accent. "I'm a yankee."

Teddy pursed her lips.
"Oh? You know, I loose track of all your stories after a while"

"Don't worry about it. Telling people I'm from the south helped keep who I was from everyone. I'm not sure it's necessary any more, though."

"Soo, it's New York? Really?" Teddy smiled, letting her self lay down so she was probably laying on her side, watching the brunette with big blue eyes. "I don't think I remember which story matches which right now" she laughed.

"Boarding school was in New York," she chuckled. "I spent a lot of time there. Jersey Shore during the summer with my parents until the Stock Market crash caught up with them. But the family business and house was in Philadelphia."

"Mmmm, Jersey Shore.... " Cass could tell what Teddy was thinking, even if the blond was well aware that the big hair, fake tans, shit reality shows and wanna-be Italian guidos and guidettes were a more modern phenomenon. "Heh, it's funny, having known you that long and still messing up where you're from" then again, she wasn't aware Cass' name wasn't Cass.

"I'm kindred..." She frowned. "Lies helped me to survive." She wasn't exactly proud of it, but it was the truth.

"Hey, not as if I'm angry or upset. I'm just curious" Teddy shrugged with a smile.
