A bit of colour helps (Cass) - Miami Refuge

The walls had been turned into a sky full of clouds, though the place was still for the most part empty. Which was why the Caitiff had brought in a few potted plants of various types to brighten it up. A bit of colour to bring light to the place.

Just because it was a hideout didn't mean they couldn't at least try to make it feel a bit more cozy. Or at the very least, not have it feel empty and cold. She'd even brought in some better mattresses. Nothing fancy but they beat the inflatable ones. It of course helped when you could disguise what you were doing through illusions, so that peopel wouldn't notice her dragging lots of stuff into the place.

Now? Now they had two comfortable beds in the form of two large mattresses on the floor of each of their rooms. New sheets, new pillows and covers.

The Caitiff wanted it to be a surprise.

Sitting down on her bed, she crossed her legs and rested her sketchbook in her lap, silently drawing as she tried to put some thoughts down on paper.

She had... ideas...
She just couldn't seem to be agree with herself as to how they ought to be executed.

It was a good while later as dawn approached that the sketchbook and the pencil was placed aside, the blond curling up under the covers as the two ferrets ran to join her and cuddle up close.

"Sleep tight..." she pulled the two close, along with Diego and a blue teddy bear that she'd been given for Christmas and which meant more to her than people might think.

Hopefully sleep would take her soon...
She hated sleeping alone...
