Still... floor, sink, through. She very much wanted to do that as she probably had the look of someone who'd just accidentally killed their best friend or something. A bit panic struck with a hint of guilt and a butt load of pained, black as ink conscience.

Her and Cass both. Honstly, she was just ready to crawl into a hole and die.

"Talk with him...? Please...?" Teddy whiapered.

"Yeah, of course... I will," she promised.

The blond's eyes dropped to her hands which were doing that nervous wringing thing they sometimes did when she was upset or worried.
"Alright... good..."

And Cass did what she normally did. "I'm gonna go... hang out on the roof." And she stood up and did just that, climbing up the side of the house once she was out the back door.

It seemed to be a trend of the caitiff lately, fucking up... But not knowing what to say or do, she didn't say or do much more. She just quietly retreated to her room and closed the door before she could somehow make things worse.
Talking, she should not be allowed to do it.

But it wasn't Teddy's fuck up. Not at all. But fearing Teddy wouldn't believe her, she left it for now. Sitting on the roof... Wishing to fly.

And the blond stayed where she was, better to be face down in a pillow, that way she couldn't say anything! Wheeee... arg! Why did everything have to be so complicated?

It was nearing dawn by the time Cass finally scrambled down off the roof and came back inside. She went straight to Teddy's room to curl up with her silently in her bed.

Which was how they fell asleep, the two ferret even joining them silently.
