"Interesting. I think that it would be very interesting if he could equal the human brain."

"I never doubt what Raz0r can do. She's amazing."

"I am sure that she is. It was not a question of Raz0r's ability. It was a question of the capacity of the computers that she uses and modifies."

"She machines her own parts. Getting better every month. But enough about her. If we're going to fake this relationship thing, we should probably go on a 'date'."

She was game. Because really -- how often did she go on dates? Oh, right. Cute Russian. Oddly enough, not as often as one might think.

"What are you interested in? Favorite food."

"Favorite food is Indian, but I am not picky eater."

"Then we'll go out to Indian food tonight. Then movies here at home."

"Would you believe me if I said tear jerkers?"

"Then let's head out to dinner. I know this great place."

She tilted her head and smiled. Not one for fussing over her appearance, she simply nodded.

He offered her his arm and then led her out to his car. Which was a simple SUV.

As he turned on the car, the radio turned on to the local rock station. The he turned it off.

"So, how long do you have left in school?"

"One year, then four of internship. What about you?"

He chuckled.

"I'm always learning, but I haven't been in school for about fifty years or so."

"You are that old?"

"Yeah. I think I hit 80 or so this year. Lost track when I stopped getting older. One of the perks."

She was blinking, rapidly. Trying to wrap her head around that.

"Will that happen to me, too?"

Because, yanno, Grant was a good guy and all. Some things, he didn't explain all that well.
