"Hey Abby. You settling in okay?"

"I am, thank you. I wanted to speak with you about something called Q?"

Because she had no idea what Q actually was.

"Yes. But more, Mister Grant suggested that I should make a pretend boyfriend sort of thing so that my friends do not ask too many questions. And said I should ask you about the use of the Q for this. But I would not want to impose."

She looked down a little.

"Especially if the Q does not wish to pretend for that."

"He's back in the work shop. Go talk to him yourself. I'm not going to make that decision for either of you."

He was arms deep in computer parts, seeming to be cannibalizing a few machines for parts. His back was to the door, and there was music playing from the speakers.

"You must be Abigail. Raz0r told me Grant had brought someone new into the family."

He crossed his arms and leaned back against the table, looking her over.

"I think I could do that. Gonna be spending a lot of time together, anyways."

"Grant and Raz0r are a pair. We live on the same property. Likely, considering how Raz0r has been talking about you, she's going to want to work with you a lot. And I work with her a lot. So, we will be working together a bunch. And it's then there's the daylight hours, when neither of them will be around."
