What the fuck? (Raz0r) - Johnathon's Haven

Johnathon came into Raz0r's workshop looking for the little Nos, a look of puzzlement  on his face.

She was welding. It was a thing she did. But she stopped when he came in, turning off the torch.

"Yes love?"

Once she put the torch out, he came up and gave her a gentle kiss and hug

"I had the strangest conversation with Areron. She told me you two used to be friends, and that you even helped raise her. Was she in thrall to Mayek or something?"

She snarled.

"Yeah, I helped raise the bitch. That made the betrayal worse."

"She claims to feel guilty, and I get the impression she was in thrall to Mayek. She actually offered to let you torture her under Griselda's supervision if that would help mend old wounds."

He looked at Razor, and kissed her forehead "This is a mess, and I am trying very hard to understand what happened and lead to it, so that when it blows up again, I know how to react."

She sighed.

"This wound goes too deep. Nothing will do but for her to be completely ruined."

"But... what if she was in thrall to Mayek? He was? Is? An evil bastard by every account, and it seems like he took her in to use her as a tool. What if it is him who must be targeted most of all? I mean, even Griselda had a roll in all of this from what I understand. Whatever it is, I want to know. I want the truth so I can put an end to all the looming hatred, and mistrust and fighting, Once and for all."

She shook her head.

"It's going to take a hell of a lot more than that. The facts are gone. Obliterated. I only have what I know to be the truth. And that's the truth that she is a backstabbing whore."

"Well yes, she is. She is a sociopath, and I told her as much to her face. The only reason I didn't kill her after she kidnapped me, was so I could extract more profit from her. I truly believe she is incapable of remorse, or love. I think she wants you to beat her, so she can actually feel something, so she can feel as if she has done some atonement. Personally I like her just where she is at. I'm tired of breaking in new Harpies. It's a pain in the ass for people like us. I told Griselda as much in fact."

He chuckled "I startled Areron when I came up on her. She was expecting violence. I suspect she is going to be looking over her shoulder for anarch revenge for a very long time. An attitude, I most heartily approve of."

She nodded.

"As long as you never actually expect me to be friends with her."

"I don't. If memories hadn't been wiped I wouldn't expect her to be alive, but how can you punish someone for what they no longer know what they did? Perhaps you should take her up on her offer of torture. "

She sighed.

"I think not."

He nodded "Your call. Let's talk about something else. I promised I'd relay the message and try to find a way to have a little less animosity, nothing more."

She nodded.

"What to talk about?"

"Tzmisce. They cleared Sabbat out of this state and are suddenly not doing anything? What gives?"

She shrugged.

"I got nothing."

He sighed "Yeah, me neither. So, what do you think of a trip to Europe sometime in a month or two? Ireland and London"

She chuckled.

"Ireland would be pretty."

"It would be. And I hear it's all Brujah and Anarch. Should be most amusing."

She laughed.

"Perfect, then."

"I'm going to try and drag McKay along, so I've got a reasonably tame and intelligent Cammie with us. He might be helpful with the Irish, and he'll irritate the Londoners, who will also be irritated by me, but will be polite due to my clan."

She chuckled.

"Greer would have to come, too."

"I'm not sure I've met her. But yes, if he has a mate that would be a given."

She nodded.

"She's a Daughter of Cacophony. She's a great person to spend time with."

"I have only heard of them. Never met one"
