Reverse Engineering (Raz0r) - Johnathon's Haven

Johnathon wandered into Raz0r's workshop and waited until she had a free moment.  "Hey love, need to ask you something"

She turned to him, brushing her hair back behind her ears. Fiddly bits were always so exacting.

"What do you need?"

"Need you to figure out what methods Areron used to make my gunblade. Some sort of wooj was involved I think. It's part of a trade with her. If we can reverse engineer her methods, then the next step is to reverse engineer a Japanese master technique, rather than trying to steal the secrets."

She nodded.

"Okay. I can give it a whirl."

"Thank you" he smiled "Mind you I have no plan at all to go and steal the secrets of Japanese masters, but I think most things can be reversed engineered given enough opportunity and effort."

She nodded.

"And it would help to know how she does things, so that we can engineer them ourselves."

"Which is a curious thing. She has to know we will try, although I'm not sure her methods are so secret. Plus, she is willing to sell her blades to most comers. Well that, and we have her brother. Can't help but wonder if he is a spy or not..."

"Damnit to hell Raz0r. Why do I have cam politics in my fucking city?"

She smiled and moved to hug him.

"I'm sorry."

He wrapped his arms around her and smiled.

"It's ok love. Bound to happen sooner or later. Eh if they actually piss me off, you can still hit the Toreador clan house with rolling blackouts, right?"

She laughed.

"We could still do that. Would just have to warn Griselda."

"Think she would care?" he chuckled

"Probably not, but it's only right to warn her first. Just in case."

'Heh, fair enough. Hmmm so should I leave you to your work, or sweep you away from it for some sort of charming evening?"

She chuckled and held him tight.

"Feel free to whisk me away."

"But my dear, I'm not sure what sort of whisking I should do. Perhaps it's just best if I left you to your work."

She pouted prettily.

"But we haven't had a night just for us in a while."

"Mmmm that is true. And you know, I was just thinking of that first night we shared. The one where I brought you flowers, and then you wound up making it fairly clear we would likely never have any sort of romantic relationship."

She chuckled.

"And look how that turned out."

"I know" he chuckled while nibbling at her nose

"And that brings up something else I have been fighting with. I know you cannot fully join yourself to me, but I have thought about doing it with you, although for largely selfish reasons, namely that of being able to feed from you in an emergency."

She blinked up at him for a moment.

"Are you sure?"

"I don't know. I should just wait in case that emergency arises. There is also Caramina, but her blood scares me "

She nodded.

"That is a trait of theirs, according to some of the books I've read."

"It's a force of wlll not to drink from her, but it is amazing what you feel when you taste it '

She smiled.

"I will have to try it some time."

"Anyway, we were discussing dancing or having a good time. Why not teleporting us into Port St. Lucie and trying to scare up a torie or two to join us for a fun evening?"
