She smirked a little, then came closer.

"And I've known some Nos that turning them into a lawn chair would be an improvement. Don't judge my Clan until you meet them."

To Bethy, she smiled and nodded.

"Yes, you were very, very useful."

She nodded.

"People will listen, this time."

She nodded and came forward.

"I understand you now. I will always listen to you."

Because she had the same sort of blessing/curse that this poor woman did.

She reached out a hand to the other ghoul, smiling.

"Thank you."

She took the woman's hand and sat down, her hand in that of the other ghoul.

"Do you want to play with Loki for a while?"

She looked at the giant tiger and giggled. Then she tried to catch the eye of the tiger. Once she had, she rumbled out a greeting.

Hello Loki.

The tiger, accustomed to humans and especially humans that could speak to him, ducked his head almost in a greeting.

Hello, two-legs.

She giggled again and turned to the other ghoul.

"I would love to introduce him to Masha."

She smiled.

"Go ahead. He's a big teddy bear."

She nodded and stood, holding out a hand to the tiger.

I want you to meet my kitten.

The tiger rose to his feet, walking forward and bumping his head against her hand. Yes, he was like a very large kitten.

You have cub?

She giggled and nodded.

Not of my body, but yes.

And she led him away.

Chet smiled warmly as it appeared Bethy had found a new friend.

"Ain't got nuthin' against any clan. Folks be folks, and there be good and bad among 'em all."

She nodded and smiled.

"They tell me yours is crazy."

"Yup. We are."

She grinned.

"What's your crazy flavor?"

"Hon, I flew choppers in nam. I came into this world pre enlightened."

She laughed.

"Doesn't mean anything. Your flavor of crazy can be anything."

"PTSD, manifests itself in some strange ways. Might mask some other crazy, not sure. Jest assume I be like the stereotypes of the crazy nam vet and call it good eh?"

She grinned.

"Fair enough. I'm terrified of clowns, so I'm not exactly sane."

"Ain't a big fan of them neither. Like they are hidin' something under all them goofy clothes and makeup"

She shuddered in memory.

"They are."

He nodded "Let's talk 'sumpin' else. So ah don't know shit about these voodoo mages. Whatcha want to teach me about 'em?"

She shrugged.

"I'm not really an expert on them. I just know voodoo is real and that it's usually bad. People shouldn't play with dead things."

"Yah be tremere and yah be studyin' 'em them. Ah know Jack and shit about mages, and Jack done left town. So ya know more than I do, and ah wants ta' know what ya know."
