In a strange reversal, it really seemed like the vampire devoted much of his life to caring for the ghoul

She nodded and took up Loki's leash again, offering him a wave. She started for her car with a grin, letting the tiger hop inside first.

"Will do! Until next time!"

Sliding behind the wheel of her car, it was only moments before the engine was started and she was backing out of the driveway.
