A ride home (Abigail) - Jack's Attic

"Could've been but my medicine cabinet suggests I'm actually telling the truth" Jack said with a light chuckle as she was pulled a little closer, just so he could hold her properly to him while he kissed her. "I don't usually tell people anyways unless I think it important. And, yeah, I figured it could be in this case" since she'd just lost her dad and might not be up for dealing with someone who could very well drop off the face of the planet come next week.

She is quiet a moment, running her hand through his hair and letting it rest on his neck again. "My life isn' exactly simple an' withou' problems righ' now either. Frankly, i' is a bi' o' a shit show truth be tol'. I mean, if we are goin' with tha whole full disclosure thing......" she said honestly.

"I don't intend to add to it you know? I mean whatever mess might be clogging up your life right now..." he seemed to like it when she ran her fingers through his hair. "Life's never straight forward or easy, I can handle things being a bit difficult" Jack smiled.

"Aye......righ' now this is tha only thing tha' has gone tha least bi' righ' for me in months. Trust me, ye aren' causin' any problems a' all. Really." she says, smiling and running her hand through his hair again. "Though I don' know where exactly ye wan' ta go with this...."

"Can I have a moment to think on that?" he chuckled, his eyes meeting hers though while he smiled. "I just met you... you just met me.." given that wouldn't exactly be a barrier to him if she wanted more out of the evening, but he had some sort of moral. And part of it was not to rush things.
"I'd like to get to know you. I think that would be a good start"

That answer seemed more than acceptable judging by the look on her face "Aye, ye can 'ave more than a moment if ye wan'." she says, still smiling "Gettin' ta know each other is a good start. Besides, my initial plans for tha nigh' seemed ta 'ave changed sometime in the las' hour or so." she says honestly

"You know, the offer from earlier still stands? If you're tired I'll crash on the couch and you can have the bed so you won't have to drive back home while half asleep" he honestly sounded like he meant it. "I won't peak or anything" he added with a smile.

"Tha' is actually quite a tempting offer.......bu' I still 'ave some work ta do a' tha bar." she says sincerely. "Im no' nearly as tired as I was before anyway........" she says with a grin and a soft laugh

"Alright" he didn't mind, just figure he ought to make sure she knew the offer was there. "Want to finish the movie first?"

"I was hopin' ta stay a bi' longer, aye. Though in all honesty I forgo' we were even watchin' a movie......" she said, giving him a rather charming smile

"We don't really need to watch the movie..." he smiled as the back of his fingers moved over her cheek again in a gently affectionate gesture.

"Aye......good, cause I really wasn' plannin' on payin' much attention ta i' anymore...." she said as she tilted her cheek into his hand

Well, since they were already on the couch... no harm in making themselves a bit more comfortable, now was there? As he leaned back, pulling her with him even while capturing her lips again in a soft kiss. A deep breath taking in her scent as he closed his eyes and simply... enjoyed her.

The movie was definitly forgotten as she allowed him to pull her with him, stretching out her legs as she leaned into the kiss. She ran her hand through his hair again as he kissed her, seemingly content doing exactly what they were doing. She didnt seem in a hurry to move any faster nor turn this in to a one night stand

It was a good way to spend the rest of his waking hours at least, a pretty girl in his arms, the touch of her lips on his. Soft and warm. It was a good feeling really, even if he didn't yet know her. Even if things could quickly enough change. No matter though? He'd this moment, and the moment was a good one. A very good one actually.

She sighs after a few minutes. "Ye are makin' i' incredibly hard for me ta fin' a good reason ta leave, ye realize tha' righ'?" she says, pulling away slightly

"You rather I give you a reason to leave?" he said with a playful touch to his voice, speaking softly. One arm still around her, resting his hand on the small of her back. "I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do, you know that right?"

"I seriously doubt you could fuck this up" he said. "Unless you plan on telling me you're a dude in drag. I might have to freak out then" Jack teased, half expecting to get hit for that one.

She feigns offense. 'Do I look like a guy?" she says, laughing. "An' ye don' know me very well. Las' few years has been nothin' bu' fuck ups an' shit luck. Tryin' somethin' a bi' differen' this time."

"No, you definitively do not look like a guy. And if you were, I might have to seriously reconsider my sexual preferences" he joked, trying to keep the mood light. "And really, Abigail, you can relax around me, please? I'm a pretty simple guy. It would take a lot to fuck up with me"

"I'm relaxed....." she says quietly, leaning in and giving him a soft kiss. "Jus' no' trying' ta give tha' wrong idea by stayin'....."

"I'd take the couch..." he muttered even as his eyes closed, when she leaned in to kiss him again. "Just... sleep"

"mmmmmmm.......tha' woul' involve movin'.........an' no' doin' this anymore....." she says softly. "I'm rather comfortable 'ere righ' now...."

Her leaving to go home would entail having to move too, but know what? He wasn't going to comment on it, because it was far too nice to just keep her where she was, in his arms, on top of him. At least for a while longer.
"I'm quite comfortable myself" he smiled.
