The apartment is a bit on the cheap side and it shows. It was probably never meant to be an apartment, but given a kitchen corner and a small bathroom and it's amazing what you can rent out to the right people.
The kitchen corner isn't much but it's big enough prep simple food, and given that Jack doesn't do much cooking, the kitchen table with room for two is rarely ever used, then he much prefers crashing on the couch in front of the tv.
The kitchen corner opens up into the living room and the bedroom, which, let's face it, is all just one big open space.
Along one wall are a few windows with a view to the outside world, the apartment itself accessible either via an old elevator or staircase.
