A ride home (Abigail) - Jack's Attic

Jack turned to look at her again, still smiling, still looking comfortable.
"Yeah, we'll see. Hey, for all I know, maybe you'll tire of me first"

"Mmmm.......I somehow doubt tha'........." she says, grinning

"Depends on how many leprechaun jokes I can come up with" he teased.

"Hmmmm. Even then" she said with a chuckle

"I'm tempted to say challenge accepted. But I don't actually feel like it's something I'd wanna win" Jack laughed.

"You didn't beat me up when I asked if you dyed your hair, so yeah, I know" he winked, brushing his fingers over her cheek gently.

"Give me a heads up first?" you know, in case she did decide to kick his ass.

It was probably as good an answer as he was going to get.

He chuckled again and nodded.
"Fair 'nough"

She grins, slipping an arm behind him and leaning against his chest so she can rest her head on his shoulder

Which was nice actually, as he rested a foot on the table and switched on the tv for some mindless background entertainment. Though really, his attention was more on her than on whatever was on the box.

She rests her head in the space between his neck and shoulder, breathing deeply. She closed her eyes, but she didnt go to sleep. She just enjoyed the closeness.

With which he seemed quite alright, after all, he had a pretty, fun redhead in his arms. What was there to complain about? So he'd happily hold her like that for as long as she wished, no need to talk about anything unless she wanted to, just both of them relaxing and enjoying the quite time.
