"For you too" she smiled. "If you wanna learn I'll teach you. Though, well, it's like the Chimestry though I guess, you know the prize" and it wasn't one paid to Teddy, it was simply the prize of keeping it under wrap so she didn't get herself killed because of it.

She shook her head. While she wanted it... she wanted it more than she ever wanted any kindred power. But... she just couldn't. "Thank you for the offer. But I think... considering Alex in the equation, I should hold off. Just in case."

"Oh, mmm okay" Teddy nodded quietly. "I can still teach you Potence though if you want. It's not much compared to a lot of other things but... you already know the stuff I know and more" except for two major things, one of which was the Protean and the other which had nearly lost her Medwyn, so, not bringing that up.

"I've started to learn Dominate. I can teach that to you, if you'd like. It might come in handy," she nodded.

"Maybe, I dunno if I'd ever be able to get a hold of that heh" could you really picture Teddy with Dominate? She couldn't. "But you know, I already owe you plenty, you don't need to teach me anything in return"

"Why do you think you owe me anything? You're my friend, Teddy, my sister, remember? You don't owe me anything..." she said softly as she pulled onto the interstate.

"Even I'm tired of being around emo me" the blond said with a soft chuckle.

"Don't worry about it," she smiled. "It's all good."

"Yeah, well... Potence?" it was something even if it wasn't much in the big picture.

"Potence," she smiled a little, nodding. "I finally got Fortitude down. Finally. Maybe me getting hurt won't be such a big deal now."

Teddy opened her mouth closed it again, opened, closed, repeated a couple of times before asking quietly. "Think you'd be willing to teach me...? I had a teacher, but he disappeared... and the other who was suppose to teach me kind of isn't talking to me" for some reason, Fortitude? Was apparently shit difficult to learn.

"I can teach you, I'd love to," she smiled a little brighter. "It's real easy, too. I promise."

"Hey.. all things considered I'll be happy if it can be learned without having to taste claw" because she'd worried about that part with Rolf. Horribly so actually though she hadn't said anything to anyone. She hadn't wanted to worry Medwyn after all.

"Nope nothing like that at all. You won't even get hurt. Jim McKay taught me-- you know, after Grant tried to teach me by running me through with a sword."

She chuckled a little.

"No, all you do is light a candle and bring your hand as close to the flame as you can stand and you push yourself a little further and a little longer each time. You don't touch the flame, but you grow used to the heat."

"Huh...." she looked at her hands. "I think I can do that..." that didn't sound too bad. "Heh... and Medwyn would be happy about me learning without getting beat up" because let's face it, protective Brujah was protective.

"Yeah, there's really no need to go through thar kind of pain at all. And you'll have down in no time!

"And no stabbing" seriously, the man had stabbed Cass? Yeah... that was a shit idea of learning if she ever heard of one.
She kind of subconsciously ran a hand over her stomach.
"No stabbing is a very good thing"

"Yeah, I'm... not so much a fan of injury," she shook her head, half sick just thinking about it. "But this will be good for you."

Hey dating a Brujah? Yeah, there was a reason she wanted to learn Fortitude. So Medwyn wouldn't have to worry in case he got a bit uhm.... excited.
"And you get some real strength to flex" Teddy chuckled. Not that she looked all that strong.

"It will be nice to have... to have an extra card up my sleeve," she chuckled. Or... for keeping certain Gangrel on their toes.

"Yeah, I'm still learning myself but I can get you started ad keep you up to the same level as I as I learn?" hopefully that would be acceptable. "I wasn't sure to begin with if it was something I really wanted to learn"

"Oh, yeah, that's fine," she nodded again. "I'm not in any rush. I never thought I wanted to learn it, either. But it's quickly becoming a necessity."

"Mmm, I guess. It pays to be ready doesn't it? Even if most of my skills are tuned towards running away, it helps to know you can actually bite back if needed be. I didn't like it when I floored by that Gangrel..." she still cringe a bit at the thought of his fang sin her flesh. Only one person had the right to do that. It certainly wasn't a random Gangrel thinking her dinner.

"Hey, I've always been a fan of running away," Teddy knew that, though. "But with everything going on... We can't rely on others now, if we can't run away. It's for the best, right?"

"Yeah... I know Medwyn worries... that I'm too weak in a fight" she wasn't necessarily, but head on? Head on she might be in trouble depending on the situation. "I don't want him to worry. And I don't want you to worry" the blond smiled at her.
