She snorted.

"Like tha' would stop me fro' staying. If he asks me t' leave wi' him, I'll leave. But tha's it."

She nodded.

"That's fair."

She smiled.

"Aye. An' no askin' him t' ask me t' leave."

Her lips twitched.

"Party pooper."

She smirked.

"I know ye t' well, lass."

She laughed.

"You do. And I really haven't changed much. Only on the outside."

She nods.

"Aye. I get tha' now. But ye can nay expect this kitty t' ha' changed her stripes, either."

She laughed.

"I didn't. I was just worried there, for a few minutes, that you had."

She shook her head.

"Always had th' feelin' tha' t'would be smarter t' leave. But nay, lass. I'll nay leave ye t' deal alone."

She nodded.

"It's appreciated. I know... I already know... that I have to go in there. There's two of our people in there already... one of which, if I do not get out, Estaban will never forgive me."

She growled.

"Fine. But I'm stayin' out here. D' nay make me come get ye."

She nodded.

"I wouldn't expect you to."

She sighs.

"Just don' be takin' no unnecessary risks, aye?"

She nodded.

"I won't. But I can't let him down. He... he believes I can do anything. And I can't let him down with this. I have to save her."

She nods.

"I'll keep th' children safe whilst ye be gone."

She nodded.

"Good. Just... go give Heath and Heather kisses from me. They'll worry."

She frowned.

"Who?"

She smiled.

"My ponies."

She smiled.

"Show me where they be, an' introduce me 'fore ye leave. I'll take care o' 'em."

She nodded.

"Will do. They're at the house. My pride and joy, honestly."

She smiled.

"Aye, ponies be like tha'."

She smiled.

"They're hysterical to listen to."

She chuckled.

"They be yours. O' course they are."

She started to laugh.

"Hey. Waitaminute... how does them being mine mean that they're hilarious?"

She grinned. And said nothing.
