This is Very Awkward (Grace) - Panther's Lair

She batted her eyelashes and grinned.

"Why, yes. Yes, I am."

She laughed.

"Fine, but dinna expect me t' be happy 'bout it."

She grinned.

"How's it fair if I don't let you see what it can do when I offer to race you?"

She grits her teeth and glares.

She grinned. Then she actually opened up the motor of the little car, actually letting some of the speed take over. And oh, yes. She was having fun.

She was gritting her teeth and clench the seat in her hands. Ancient was not happy.

She threw her head back and laughed.

"Grace! Unclench! I've done this a few times!"

And just sped up more.

She growled.

"I dinna trust this t' nay come apart beneath us."

She laughed.

"Then trust me to hold it together!"

Very slowly, she relaxed. Very slowly.

At least she kept the increased speed at a steady while Grace started to... relax is not quite the term I'd use.

At least her fingers had stopped digging into the seat. And her jaw had unclenched. Still.....not happy.

Evil. She was evil. She knew it. It was about the time that the ancient had gone from being terrified and angry to being just unhappy (read: when she had relaxed a little) that she actually floored the little sports car.

She growled softly. And didn't relax any further.

She was taken by another giggle fit. But she continued to speed up, actually letting the engine work its magic.

She smirked. And kept her eyes on the road. She really looked like she was ready to go to mist at a moment's notice.

She couldn't help the grin.

"Want to see something really fun?"

"Such a wee bitch. Fine."

Several things happened simultaneously. She spoke, though it was just a little bit hasty.

"Hold on."

That was the only warning that she got before the blonde slammed on the brakes, spun the wheel, and took them into a wonderfully tight spin.

Whee?

She screeched. And her fingers punctured holes in the seat.

Concentrating on driving, she didn't actually react for a few seconds. When she brought the spinning car to a stop, she looked over at Grace with an expression of half-innocence, half-amusement.

"I said to hold on...."

She glared.

"Ye have a sick sense o' humor."

She laughed. Couldn't help it.

"It's why you love me."

She laughed.

"Aye."

She grinned, shifting the car into gear once more, but at a much more reasonable speed.

"It's how I get away with so much."
