Looking for Advice (Grace) - Panther's Lair

This was a little more personal than just a friendly visit hello. Which is why she went to the house, knocking politely on the door and stood there, her hands behind her back and looking almost... shy... as she waited for the Gangrel to answer.

She answered the door, having been home for once.

"Lass, come in."

She looked very young at the moment. Not in the way she was dressed or the way she held her hair, just that she held a look of youth about her. Smiling, she stepped inside.

"Hello, Granny. I'm sorry I haven't come by sooner."

She closed the door then pulled the red head into a tight hug.

"Forgiven."

She wrapped her arms around the tiny Pict, holding her tightly as she closed her eyes.

"Thank you."

She held her as long as was needed. Which, on her end, was a full minute.

As long as Grace wanted to hold her, she let her. She wasn't pulling away from the Pict at all. And Grace would have noticed something else about the redhead -- how utterly relaxed she seemed. Usually, the greetings were perfunctory at best, though affectionate. At the moment, she didn't seem to be in any hurry and that itself was odd.

"I've missed you."

She finally let go, though she kept her hands on the Scottish woman's shoulders.

"Aye, an' I ye."

She looked up at Grace, smiling at her. It was a sweet smile, though, and gentle.

"Ohh, boy, do I have something to talk to you about."

She tilted her head to the side.

"D' I wan' t' be sittin' down for this?"

She laughed softly.

"Mmm, yeah, probably."

She took her hand and led the way to the living room. Then stopped.

"Am I gonna wan' a drink"

With her hand still in Grace's, she smiled.

"Yes. I'll get it for you. What would you like to drink?"

Uh-oh. It was definitely a big thing. She's serving Granny.

She was moving to the living room to claim her chair.

"The whiskey. Top shelf."

She turned toward the shelf to pull down the bottle of whiskey and two glasses. She poured three fingers for Grace and one for herself, closing and replacing the bottle before she picked up both glasses. She handed one to Grace and smiled, sitting down herself.

"So, I've been asked to be made an honest woman out of."

She stared for a moment, then drained her glass.

"By who?"

Very carefully, she sat the glass of whiskey on the table before she answered. She even folded her hands in her lap first.

"Chase Covington."

She glared.

"Why?"

She tilted her head.

"Why what? Why did he ask me? Because he loves me. Why Chase? Same answer...."

She nodded.

"Aye. An' how is this ceremony goin' t' take place?"

Loaded question is loaded.

She was silent for a few moments.

"However you require, actually."

She smiled at that.

"Good. Does he know?"

She smiled.

"I've been teaching him. The fact is that I can't give him actual specifics; every priestess is different."

She nodded.

"Ye want th' full thing, then? All o' it?"

She nodded.

"If you deem it appropriate, yes."
