Work is a fun place! (open)

Ali was working, it was a Tuesday night, and the place was a bit dead this eve. The usual crowd wasn't in due a a canceling of the normal venue so she was cleaning behind the bar, in her skinny jeans, tank top with a purple top over a white tank top, her long hair braided back in pig tails and wearing her choker with the yellow stone.

The music playing softly was a mix of current favorites, with favorites through the 80's and she kept an eye out for regulars while she cleaned.

Victor limped up to the bar, wearing a somewhat informal black sports coat over a gray shirt, and carrying a leather satchel over one shoulder.

"Good evening Ali" he said with a smile

"Good evening Mr. Steele, your usual?" with a grin at him.

"No, I don't think you have the tears of my enemies back there" he smirked

"Yuengling beer please."

"Draft or bottle?" waiting to hear which he wants.

"Draught of course" he said, with his oddly obsolete Philadelphia accent coming through

SHe chuckled, "But of course." she went and poured him a draft beer, setting it before him "Running a tab?"

"Might as well, if you think I'm good for it" he chuckled while taking the beer and lifting it to his lips

"I don't know are you?" with a chuckle at him. "So what brings you in on a slow slow night?"

"It's the only risque club in town" he shrugged. "I like to look, even if I'm not touching, bonus points for intelligent conversation behind the bar, and it's the last place anyone would look for me."

"It's no longer a risque club." with a grin at him, "It's just a club now."

"Same principal applies. Interesting eye candy at times."

"Okay." with a shake of her head "It's pretty boring right now."

"I like boring. Boring is safe. Boring means there is no crisis and things aren't going to hell in a handbasket"

"Very well. It is not going to get much busier." with a nod to him. "It is going to drag this evening."

"You have no idea how I crave and value peace and quiet."

"Then here is for you." with a bright smile "And I'll leave you to your quiet."

"Did you ever settle on a halloween costume?"

"No not yet." shaking her head "In a non-Halloween mood actually so that doesn't help."

"Ah. Creepy professor?"

"No not at all...." with a half smile at him.

"That's good. Is he under control?"

"It was good to take the counselor, my assignment is interesting." with a shaking of her head "But I will get it done."

"That is good" he smiled

'Yeah I am my counselor was with me so glad I took him too. It was not comfortable being in there solo." with a nod to him.
