Training for Friends (Teddy) - Sunflower Beach

"Heeeyy....." damn it she was probably right. "I'm so screwed" she giggled herself and slumped her head forward as if in defeat.

"But... But isn't that the point?!"

She ducked, waiting to get hit for that one. Giggle.

"Hey!"
Okay, so she did get hit, but it wasn't exactly done in a mean spirited way as there was little strength behind it. It was more of a "shut it" kind of slap to her arm than anything else. That, and well, she was still laughing.

"I'm sorry," she said as she was laughing and covering her head with her arms defensively. "I'll behave, I'll behave!"

"Mmmhm" oh she sounded soooo convinced. "And I think I'll start walking on water" she poked her tongue out and snickered.
"And meh... I can't complain" the blond muttered, looking away as she coughed. Because really, she couldn't complain. Not one bit.

"You can do anything you put your mind to, Teddy," she grinned. "I'm just glad to see you so happy. It's a welcomed change, yeah?"

"Hey, I'm usually happy aren't I?" the usually so carefree Caitiff smiled at her, giving her a nudge there she lay in the sand. Silly Rose. "I just haven't been this kind of happy is all. It's different, you know? Different having someone to wake up next to, who can make you smile just by a little gesture like brushing the hair from your face. Everyone who's out clubbing and dancing and drinking every weekend, while having fun, is inevitably wanting someone to snuggle up on the sofa with instead" so see? She wasn't completely naive, despite what her rep might suggest.

"Oh, I definitely understand," she nodded as she spoke softly. "Makes it all worth it, doesn't it? All that time spent just... wandering. Something like this, it makes you sit still and cherish it."

"I kinda liked the wandering" though she was kinda weird like that, always having enjoyed traveling. "Though... I like this better" Teddy said, turning her head slightly to look over in the direction of the house with the flowers. "I like having a home" with him...
