On the night that Teddy was leaving notes about her leaving PSL, as she is home at the beach and packing, she is very suddenly not alone. Before she had time to react, Chase appeared before her and something struck her exceedingly hard in the chest. His face was the last thing she would see that night as she crumpled to the floor.
(Teddy takes 9 lethal damage and is dropped into torpor for 2 weeks time. She is also successfully staked.)

Chase looked down at the body, crumpled on the floor with a look of disappointment.
The elder Brujah shook his head and hoisted the body over his shoulder without ceremony.
