He smirked. "Good luck with that."

He looked at him curiously.

"You think I might have a problem with that? Weren't you just a second ago telling me to go for it? Make her the only one?"

He smiled afterward, showing to arm no fowl, but he was curious at the change of manner.

He shook his head. "Naw. I don't really care ta tell ya tha truth. You were sayin' that ya were workin' on it. I'm wishin' ya luck with it."

He chuckled.

"Fair enough and I appreciate it. But now you know about why I am not messing about with Greer. I would appreciate it if that mostly stay between us. It isn't really a secret, but I dont usually spread my private life everywhere..I just seem to."

He smirked. "Hon, I dunno what ya think I'm doin' with her. But ya don't really come up often."

He laughed.

"I meant I wasnt playing games with Greer and I meant not bringing it up with everyone else. I was surprised I came up at all. You are...a commanding presence. "

His brow lifted. "I can't tell if ya happen ta be flirtin' with me or if ya are hopin' I don't hit ya."

He laughed.

"Probably flirting. I do it entirely too much. I had not really thought about you hitting me at the moment. If you are going to, there is not much I can do about it."

He smirked. "Ya lookin' for another go-round, hon?"

He laughed.

"I would love to. But I can't. Like I said, limiting myself."

He laughed. "Ya want ta, but ya ain't gonna? That what I'm hearin'?"

He smiled.

"You are very astute. Yes, that is what you are hearing."

He tilted his head. "Why ya wanna, if ya ain't gonna do it?"

He tilted his head and looked at the man.

"Forgive me Jim, but I do not understand."

He laughed. "You're lyin' 'bout one or tha other. Which is it? Ya either wanna do it an' will. Or ya don't wanna do it, so ya ain't gonna."

He laughed.

"Why would you say that? Haven't you ever wanted to do something but gave it up because of something else that was more important to you? You're a good delicious man but quite frankly Ra'idah is more important to me."

He shook his head. "Naw. I ain't. I prioritize too, hon. But if I have what I want, I don't want nothin' else. Period."

He shook his own head.

"I disagree. But then you are the older wiser."

He shook his head. Then shrugged. "Naw. We're just wired different, you an' me."

He smiled,

"That is most likely true. We have different ways of looking at things. I wish I could be like you. But I am not."

He snorted. "Of course ya do. Everybody wanna be like McKay." Then he smirked. "Ya can be. If ya wanna. Ya know that. Right?"

He laughed.

"I have always believed we are who we are. I am pretty sure I cannot be like you."

He smirked. "Course not. I'm much prettier."

He laughed, leaning back and his arms moving to the back of the couch.

"Yes you are. A major point in your favor. And quite remarkably strong. Very swoonable."

He laughed. "It's weird. Like I got some power or somethin'. Don't really mean for it ta happen. It just does."
