Distractions Necessary (Open)

She laughed, which was a melodic sound of good humor. She answered Ray, but, of course, kept her chair close to that of Matieu.

"Ali there is a real bartender. That girl is absolutely amazing, really. If we get really busy, we have a couple more bartenders to help out, but in truth, she can handle even some of the most busy nights with ease. I make it a habit of keeping my place staffed with the best of the best -- and if it's horrible, I'll even get back there to help out."

Not a lie, actually.

"I am pretty sure Griselda would give you the time off if you asked. She is a pretty reasonable person. And Miyu keeps the same late and weird hours I do."

Ali nodded to him, "I just need to make arrangements when I take nights off, it's harder then one would think." with a smile at him. "I think I'd melt if I was up before 4 these days. Thank goodness for on line classes." with a soft laugh. "I just can't do daytime anymore with working here full time now."

Ray looked at her "Really she seems to well skinny to have the stamina to keep up on a busy night. And you get behind the bar too..." with a grin at her "I bet you are amazing back there." with a more leering look and smile, he obviously was the lush and one that would be all over her if given a chance. Matieu cleared his throat, "If she says the lady behind the bar is the best, then she is." with a tone that said enough is enough.

One of the other guys got the nerve to speak up "Do you belly dance? Because that outfit reminds me of a belly dancer I once knew." with a blush of Erik was the shy and possible naïve one of the group.

She didn't seem in the least bit disturbed by Ray's question or his mannerisms. But because Matieu seemed to want to flex his muscle and be the leader of the group as well as protective of what she was certain he considered to be his 'conquest', she reached over to put a hand against his. Just a brief, warm touch.

She gave Erik a warm smile, though. "I do, actually. In fact, I dance quite often."

"Really, I bet you're amazing." he said with a gush and blush. Matieu grinned at the kid, the other guy just watched saying nothing letting the others ask their questions letting Matieu play his role as Griselda started to get who the real leader was - which was Matieu because so far he hadn't said a word he was just watching her, his eyes had yet to leave her face.

Ali looked at her phone one last time, a slight frown but another quick text and then a glance at Mr. Steele, "Well I am sorry to hear you still have other health issue's you'd think getting those two things fixed would have helped with most of those issues."

She tilted her head and couldn't resist it. The boy was so shy and cute, really. She found that sort of thing appealing -- that as much as he might be just another college douchebag, there was a sort of innocence about him that drew her attention. But, of course, the leader would have his way. Always. There was a pecking order to everything. She answered the questions that they fired at her easily, punctuating several of them with a slight laugh. She did, however, turn to Erik, the shy one.

"If you'd like, come in on Tuesday. I'm going to be performing that night, along with a few friends."

"Here?" he said with a look of curiosity at her. "And friends? They surely can't be as pretty as you." with a deeper blush and a slight crack in his voice as he said it.

Matieu looked at her "Open to the public and all can come to see you and your friends perform?"

Ray "And the chicky will be behind the bar in a matching outfit?" with a leer at her.

She laughed at that.

"It's open to the public, of course. But Tuesdays are usually slow, so I don't expect a large crowd. And no," she said with a wink to Ray. "Ali will not be performing."

"So she wears the body suit of doom again?" with a pout at Griselda and another glance at Ali who really wasn't showing any skin tonight.

Erik hit Ray, "She looks good in what she's wearing, plus she's working. For all you know that's her work uniform, or she could have a very jealous husband or something." shaking his head at Ray.

She laughed at that, leaning up a bit more so that she was on her knees on the chair. That's what happens when you're short. It did, of course, mean that her rump was up in the air a bit. She didn't seem offended, though.

"She's not showing much tonight. But I don't dictate what she wears behind the bar. She shows a bit of skin on our more busy evenings, I believe. With that said, I'm sure you don't have much trouble finding ladies, Ray. You're a very handsome gentleman."

She winked and leaned back again, letting her rump rest against her heels.

"Besides, Erik is right. She does, in fact, look beautiful tonight."

Erik smiled as she agreed with him, having that "See I am right look." on his face.

Ray looked at Griselda "You didn't answer if she had a guy in the wings or not..." with a lean towards her with a smirk.

Dave set down his glass, "With the rock around her neck, I'd say there was a sugar daddy in her life." he had a low sensual baritone, and his tone wasn't a forced "leader" tone like Matieu but in a way it was obvious he was calmly stating the conversation was closed.

Matieu looked at Griselda "Is our song coming up next?" now he was very curious what the song was and now that Dave had moved he was not as certain the dance would be his.

She didn't seem the least bit phased by the entire thing. Instead, she just grinned.

"Not a sugar daddy," she commented. But she left it at that. Ali was taken and she knew it, but the girl didn't need these four to know her life history. "But there is, in fact, someone."

She turned her head to Matieu as the music started to play and held out her hand for him to take.

"It is. And you promised."

He took her hand, letting her lead him out to the dance floor, and he couldn't wait to see what her hips could do.... because he was sure her hips weren't going to lie to him. Hearing the song, he quietly prayed he'd be so lucky this evening, and let her lead him to the dance floor to set up how close, or far or whatever she wanted to do to him during this song - he was all hers.

It took exactly three seconds for him to realize that she wasn't shy. This particular song didn't lend itself to a waltz or anything of the sort so easily. Which meant that she was pressed quite closely to Matieu. It didn't take long for her natural dexterity to come into play. Yes, her hips moved and she even she would have been impressed at her own skill, since it was unnaturally amazing at the moment. Then again, she was fairly sure that they would also be back for the belly dancing performance, all things considered. The dance floor even seemed to be clearing the way for her as she danced with Matieu, her hips grinding against his expertly.

Well it's a good thing Matieu had self control or the front of his jeans would be wet, as she danced, and he knew he was hard - but he'd not cum yet. He tried to be her wall while she danced, because right now - all he could do is try to NOT make her look bad because she was THAT good.

Ray was speechless, Erik was blushing and Dave was just watching her intently like a cat watches a bird it wants to capture plus he'd probably be smoking if they still allowed that in clubs these days.

Ali stopped bartending to see why everyone else had stopped dancing and was watching. She was just transfixed watching her boss do her dancing thing, debating on taking off on Tuesday but she knew she couldn't if she was dancing and bringing "Friends" - she may have to call Jaime for that though.

By the time the song ended, she had not only danced so that she was facing Matieu, she had her leg up on his hip and was mere inches away from his face. When the last notes faded, though, he could see her grin. She loved to dance. That was one of the things she missed about Estaban, if she thought all that hard about it. He was always good for a dance if he wasn't good for anything else. She let her leg slide back to the floor and without a word, started to lead the poor Matieu away from the crowd that had parted while she danced.

And she headed back toward the table, stopping by the bar to pick up her glass of water. Since she did make an effort to look like a human when she was in the club, she took several long gulps from her glass of water, sitting it down on the table before she gave Matieu's cheek a rather chaste kiss, all things considered.

"Thank you," she said, obviously pleased.

"Excuse me" he squawked out and headed to the bathroom, walking a bit funny after the chaste kiss from her.

Erik got up to see if she needed an escort back to the table, "Coming back to join us?" his pants were baggy enough to hide his boner or his boner was small enough not to show. Ray had a look now looking at her like he was mentally fucking her as she stood at the bar, and Dave had an odd look on his face.

Ali refilled her water, seem to debate doing something and then obviously voted against it.

She seemed pleased to take Erik's offer of an escort back to the table.

"I'd like that, if you still want me to join you," she smiled, giving Ali a grateful wink as her water glass was refilled. She was letting Erik lead her back to the table, though she once again sat down at the same chair she had vacated.

Yes, everything about her was sensual. Everything, from the way she talked to the way she walked (with a lot of hip) and the way she was dressed exuded sex and the promise that she did, in fact, know exactly what she was doing. But for all of that, she wasn't stupid and she didn't cheat, which meant that she was happy to dance with them all, give them her smiles and her attention. And knew in the back of her mind that they would, in fact, be back on Tuesday -- likely with friends. Which was what was important.

Erik held the chair out for her when she returned to the table, then looking at her "Did you learn that as a child or learn it as an adult?" he was honestly curious. Ray well if he was a cartoon character he'd the hound dog with tongue out and drooling all over the place. Dave was just watching her with the same intrigued look but saying nothing.

Matieu came out of the bathroom went to the bar, "Shot of something strong."

Ali grinned at him and gave him a snake bite, on her and a beer chaser. He did the shot, took the beer then headed to the table and took his seat back. Looking quite flushed and took a long drag of his beer.

Ali sent another text, then went to see if Mr. Steele needed anything else.

She nodded her thanks to Erik, whom she had decided was the most polite and gentlemanly of the group. Once she was settled, she took another drink from her water glass, then smiled.

"Thank you. Dancing? Oh, I've been dancing in one form or another since I was three. I didn't learn that particular kind of dance until a few years ago. My mother, God rest her soul, would have been upset to see it."

"Oh why? It's beautiful, was she more ballet?" Erik asked seriously because yeah she had the moves of a trained dancer.

She laughed at that.

"More like an old-fashioned, God-fearing woman. Very religious, was Mother."

"Well I have to say, God didn't give you those curves to hide behind a nunnery hood." with a dark blush again.

She laughed at that, shaking her head.

"Oh, I was never cut out for being a nun. I don't have the mental discipline for it." A lie, but not a lie. She didn't have the will to be a nun. But she had the mental discipline for pretty much anything she wanted to have it for. "But thank you. The compliment was sweet."

"You tried to be a Nun." now feeling very foolish at his attempt at complimenting her, and blushing darker.
