Roses and pianos (the Twins, open) - Sunflower Beach

They smiled at her.

"The pleasure is ours."

The smiling blonde bit her lip.
"You're the ones who taught me. I practice every night you know? To get better"

They smiled.

"Any reason that you have such dedication to this?"

"I like the idea of having a connection to you, something we share. I can probably never my Sires in public, but I can have this with you. And heh, yeah, it means a lot to me that you would be proud of me" Teddy said.

They smiled.

"We always have been. Proud of you."

"I'm very happy you feel that way" they could hear it in her tone of voice, the genuine affection with which she said it.

They smiled at her.

"Besides. What is there to not be proud of?"

"I'm not someone you would've chosen had you felt you could choose freely... I... I'm happy though. I had lost everything when you found me. And you gave me a chance at a new life. A love. At a family. Your approval means a lot because you're.. you're family" she said softly.

They smiled.

"And yet, you spent quite a lot of time being angry with us."

"Yes" she admitted. "For the longest time I thought you monsters. I thought you were the ones who had taken everything from me... for which I'm so sorry" she had apologized before but she would do so again.
"You picked up the pieces..." they hadn't created them. That was the big difference.

They smiled.

"It's all right. It's just a rapid switch of mind."

"Yes, but also a relieving one. It was something heavy and dark that I'd carried with me. To be able to let it go was a relief" she smiled at them.

They smiled.

"Then we are glad that we could help you with that."

"I couldn't have asked for better Sires..." she said honestly. "Just tell me if I get too clingy?" the blonde smiled.

They smiled.

"It's hard to cling to what you can't find."

"Heh, good thing you found me then" she said, falling quiet for a few moments as if in thought.

They simply smiled -- there was no need to say anything to that.

The blonde moved to give each of them a hug if they let her.
"Thanks for listening to me. I think the piano is grateful too for your help. At least it doesn't sound as if I'm murdering it any more"

They each gave her a hug and a smile.

"Any time."

It really was too bad she couldn't say in public who they were to her. But, the important part was that she knew, and that was good enough.
"Please let me know if I can do anything for you?"

They shook their heads.

"No... but thank you."

A little disappointing that she had nothing to offer, but she understood, so she nodded with a smile anyways.

They gave her an easy smile, but fell silent.

"Am I holding you up?" she asked. "I realize I've already taken up a lot of your evening"

They both smiled.

"Not at all. We didn't have any plans."
