Black of my Heart (Open) - Darius and Crew

"I was going to have a bloody mary." with a grin at Darius curious what he'll want.

He smiled at her.

"Scotch and soda, please. Shall I mix the drinks?"

"No I said I'd mix." with a half smile at him, as she went to prepare his first, once done she handed it to him and then she made her spicy bloody mary.

She watched Elizabeth and Darius but did not say a thing as she sipped her drink.

He waited until she handed him his drink, then reached out to offer his hand to Savannah.

"Come here," he said with a smile.

She took his hand, as he pulled her to him, and she looked up at him. "I like this tux on you." with a smile at him.

Smiling at Savannah, he lifted his glass in a gentle toast.

"I thought you might. Elizabeth, what will you have to drink, dear?"

She giggled and held up her Cosmo.

"Savannah already made me a drink. But thank you."

He smiled at Elizabeth, then brushed a kiss over Savannah's lips.

"And what's for dinner?" he asked with a smile.

Savannah stayed by his side, looking to Elizabeth, and with a warm smile "It smells divine."

She smiled.

"Kitchen special. It's a casserole, with beef and chicken, and some sausage, with peppers and pasta."

He seemed intrigued by that.

"Well, it smells delicious."

"It does." with a nod to the chef, "I brought Greek deserts I hope you don't mind." with a soft chuckle "I was in the mood for honey."

She smiled.

"I don't mind. Sounds wonderful."

He chuckled.

"I don't mind at all. Why the sudden urge for honey?"

"I don't know, it just seemed right?" with a smile up at him as she took another sip of her spicy bloody mary.

He smiled.

"I am not opposed to that logic."

She gently nuzzled into his neck, then moved to the dinner table where Elizabeth had set up dinner.

He moved with her, holding out a chair for Savannah to sit first.

She took her seat, "Thank you." to Darius and then waited for him to seat Elizabeth then himself.

Which is exactly what he did. He turned to hold out a chair for Elizabeth next.

She sat with a smile, setting her drink down at her plate.

"Thank you."

He waited for her to get seated, then slid the chair a bit closer to the table. Only once the women were seated did he take a seat himself, smiling at the two of them.

"You're most welcome, ladies."

'Can you tell me what's fell into place or do I have to wait till it's all done?" she wasn't being pushy more curious he was after all very happy with himself.

She served them both food, Darius first. Savannah got a large portion, and then she served herself and equally large portion.

'Thank you Elizabeth." still watching Darius waiting as she took a sip of her drink.
