"I suppose if it comes up, I'm not going to go out of my way."

He nodded.

"Good idea."

She looked over to the other ghoul.

"I will deal with her during daylight. I know how."

He smiled.

"You've worked out an understanding with her, then?"

She shrugged.

"Mostly? We don't talk about you."

He laughed.

"She's jealous, then?"

She nodded.

"She is. Because I know my place, and you know my place, but she's lost."

He sighed.

"I think she doesn't understand her place."

She nodded.

"Yes."

He smiled at that.

"We shall have to discuss this further, in private."

She nodded.

"Okay."

He smiled and held both of them, his hand gently caressing them both.

"Thalion, dear, what do you plan to do with your new girl?"

He reached over to pat the dead woman's thigh gently.

"I plan on keeping her as long as she can keep with Bethy's help. And using her for my own pleasure, once she's done, I'm not sure how I'll dispose of her cleanly. But I will find a discreet way."

He nodded.

"Let me know if you need help. In truth, she can just be put in the pit when you're finished."

"That would be perfect. That way she won't be alone." He smiled then stroked the corpse lovingly.

She smiled and nodded.

"And such an honor."

He grinned. They were such good pets.

"Ah, but you two are wonderful. You make me proud."
