Treating my girl right (Open) - Darius and Crew

She nodded.

"The sister who leaves you behind."

His eyes darkened a bit, but he kept his smile.

"Ah. I see."

She curled against him.

"Savannah doesn't treat you right, either."

He wasn't sure if he mentioned his sister, but he must have.

"I'm tired of being ignored... Who's Savanna?"

He smiled.

"Savannah is a young woman whom you will meet soon enough. She works for me as well, though she's been a little... moody... lately."

"Moody? Aren't all women? No offence." He said to Bethy.

She smiled.

"None taken. I'm insane. That's worse than moody."

"You seem sane to me!" Says the guy with the dead body.

He smiled.

"You aren't aware of what Savannah being moody is like yet. I suggest staying out of her path if she's cranky -- she can kill more efficiently than even I can."

She shuddered and hid her face in Darius's shoulder. She was frightened of the other woman.

Well that seemed serious, "Is she... a kindred?"

He shook his head.

"No, she's far more deadly than a Kindred."

Still hiding in his chest, she spoke softly.

"The howling doesn't stop around her. It's in my head."

He nodded and ran a hand through her hair.

"I imagine it gets very loud sometimes."

She nodded.

"The flies used to drown her out. Now I can't hear their sweet buzzing when she is around."

"Screaming? Well she sounds intimidating..." Ya, he didn't want to meet her.

She shook her head.

"You will not hear it. Only me. In my head. Always howling."

He smiled.

"She doesn't like it here. She feels 'caged' here. I imagine that's why she's so cranky."

"Caged? Well why don't we take her out and have some fun? Whatever her 'tastes' may be..." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

She shook her head wildly.

"No. Bad. Bad idea."

He laughed softly.

"You can ask her. But I'm betting she'll just growl at you for suggesting it."

She nodded.

"Yes, she will. And she may tear you apart. And then I would lose you."

He smiled.

"I doubt she'd go that far for a suggestion. But, she might."

"Well geez, she sounds like a fun killer."

He smiled.

"She is... unique. I urge you to meet her, but I urge you to only do so in my presence."
