"I hope so... Sheesh... You know how much I try to avoid sparkly things?"

"Hey now, sparkles can be fun...." depending on how you viewed it. "For example, sparkles and super glue is great fun, if you throw it as someone else" see?

"So who's gonna be our target?" Grin.

"I'm tempted to say Raven,but I'm not sure I'm up for the butt kicking that would no doubt follow" Teddy said with a slight smirk before tucking the needle between her lips as she held up and went over the costume to check the seams she'd put in place.

"Yeah... Yeah... I don't think that's a wise idea...." Cass frowned, leaning back against the wall with a sigh.

"Hey... cheer up" Teddy smiled, taking the needle again as she returned her attention tot he costume. "I'm the one who's suppose to be an emo nervous wreck right about now, not you"

"Not nervous... Not emo," she smiled lightly. "Everything's fine and will be. I promise."

"Yeah..." yeah of course it would be alright, why wouldn't it? He wouldn't do anything other than remove the memories of him if he could... right?

She leaned back against the wall.
"Still feel up for being Poison Ivy when Halloween gets here?" she asked, holding up the partially finished costume. "I got my Catwoman suit done.."

"Yeah," she nodded. "I do. I think we should do Halloween in Vegas..." She wrinkled her nose. "Oh, wait... Nevermind. Grant's wedding..."

"Huh?" what was she talking about?

"John Grant and Raz0r are getting married on Halloween," she said softly.

"Oh" she nodded her usual smile as she looked back to the costume. "You'll have to give my best wishes to them"

"Why?" Oh, that sounded... incredibly cold... "What's the point? I'm not sure I wish them the best. Why would I?"

"Oh uhm, never mind..." yeah the Rose suddenly did sound incredibly cold so the Caitiff just kind of left it at that, not wanting to make a thing out of it.

"I'm sorry. It's... it's just unfair."

Maybe she was a Rose after all?

"We're having to put the wedding on hold. For good reasons, just..." This always happened. After a while, you just started to feel... disappointed.

Teddy shuffled over slightly, patting the bed next to her.
"It's not fair... I know..." the world was a bitch sometimes. A lot of times actually.
Cass having to put her wedding on hold truly wasn't fair. Teddy not having her lover to fall asleep next to was starting to really eat away at her. And yet others got to have those things. Sometimes life really did suck... though one could always hope and pray that eventually they would be allowed the things they desired and needed as well.

Cass sat. She didn't seem upset or really that angry. More so, she was just... detached. Which wasn't a bad thing all told. "It's not that I don't want them to be happy. I'm not that selfish."

"I know it's not that" the blond said softly. "You're allowed to be upset though you know? But I know you'll get your wedding, and your husband. You know that too right? And you'll be able to be together again..." and then this would all feel like a bad distant dream.

"Will we?" She shook her head. "I'm starting to think that won't happen. Jamie's convinced Alex doesn't love me. What happens if I marry Alex and Jamie... Jamie doesn't want me around anymore?"

"That won't happen" she slipped her arms around the Rose. "You're like a daughter to him, you know? And he looks after his family" in that aspect Cass was lucky.

"But why would he go on so long and not tell me how he felt? He said he wanted me to make my own mistakes... But, it just doesn't make an sense to me. If he had issues or feelings on the matter, why wait to tell me until now?"

"Five bucks says he didn't really want to tell you, because he saw how happy you where and he rather you be happy than feel like he didn't want you to have that. but... I know someone who can't let things lay..." she gave her a light squeeze. "And you're like me... you rather know than have people spare your feelings"

"But it didn't make me feel any better when he added that he thought I wasn't sure. All over a stupid blood bond." Grr... She took a breath and let it out slowly. "You know, it's cool. I'm not one for perfection, but I was hoping this would at least be perfect. I'll just have to roll with the punches. Like everyone else."

Teddy just pulled her in tighter, closing her eyes as she hugged her close.
"It will be perfect in the end, you'll see..." she said softly. "You'll have your husband, Jamie's doubts will disappear, and you'll be happy..."

It was then that there was a knock on the door.
