Red Pill.... - Marvin's Haven

Marvin lead Naomi into his haven for the first time. Time for the introduction to eternity.

Naomi giggled like a school girl the entire way.

"You're spoiling me! I'm sure they look down on that sort of thing in the workplace," she said as she held onto his arm.

Marvin chuckled and closed the door. She would see the entire home was organized in a strict neat fashion, with all things actually forming neat orderly lines in one fashion or another.

He lead Naomi to the couch and sat down next to her.

"Well... Naomi dear, I hate to tell you. There is no government job." He was smiling softly again, looking at her in an almost serene fashion.

She looked at him, her smile unwavering as she tilted her head to the side.

"Wait... are you...?"

She let out a hearty but feminine laugh.

"You're pulling my leg, be serious. When do I start?"

Naomi playfully tapped his arm with a small fist.

"The world Naomi is much stranger than you previously believed. For instance, I don't sparkle in the sun, nor do others like me."

That same soft smile on his face, as he grinned, showing his fangs, letting the color drain from his face, and allowing his flesh to cool.

"Feel my heart"

"What are you? Some sort of freak?"

Naomi recoiled but didn't leave his side. But it certainly startled her.

"A fanboy or something?"

"No dear" he said serenely. "I am a vampire. The genuine undead blood sucking creature of the night."

Marvin took a small pocket knife out, sliced the flesh on his arm open, and then healed it.

"Fanboy's can't do that. And I'm afraid you are now bound to me for all eternity. You have drank my blood for the last three nights."

She screamed as he cut himself. And screamed again as it healed.

"Why would you DO that to yourself?!"

Maybe she didn't want to believe. Maybe she just didn't understand. But she was more concerned with him cutting himself open than anything. Naomi grabbed his arm, inspecting it with her eyes and fingers.

"Mr. Johnson?... How did you... I mean..."

She pulled her hands away.

"Did you drug me?!"

"Relax Naomi, please. You are not drugged, and I am not lying at all to you. Examine me how you see fit. But I am here to tell you that Vampires are real. As are ghosts, demons, werewolves and a host of other supernatural creatures. Some of us can shift into animal forms, and others can control others with a simple spoken word. It is an enormous world, filled with fear, envy, jealousy. Pain and torment, and so much joy and potential. We hold eternity now in our hands, all the time in the world to create and dream, to craft something new and amazing."

Marvin's eyes sparkled as he started to speak of the great potential of unlife

"I brought you into this world to help me craft technology such as the mortal world has only dreamed of. "

Naomi looked as if she could be sick right then and there. And as she listened further, her hands began to shake.

"Prove it," she said defiantly.

Without a word, Marvin turned himself invisible

And Naomi stood quickly, looking around with a start before trying to bolt to the door.

He hadn't budged, but became visible again as he spoke to her and grabbed her shoulder with a lightning quick motion of his hand

"My own gifts are varied dear. Please sit down and as the book says Don't Panic."

"I can render myself invisible, cause your emotions to change with a spoken word, or drive you past the brink of insanity with the same word. I can gaze upon you and see where you fit into the grand scheme of things. I can touch an object and discern much about it's owner or the last person to hold it, render myself invisible and with more training even appear to be someone else. Soon I will be able to cast my soul from my body and travel the astral planes. And... am quite utterly insane. It is a curse and gift of my family, and one you now share as well. Insanity allows us to discern the true nature of reality, and live life unencumbered by what others wrongly believe is sanity. We... are enlightened."

He grabbed her shoulder-- it both frightened and excited her at the same time, jarring her back to her senses.

She tried to calm herself, but it was difficult. She didn't know what the hell was going on. Only that this was both right and wrong at the same time.

"I don't want to be a vampire," she cried.

"Shhh...." he said while wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"You don't have to be a vampire. You aren't in fact. You are what we call a ghoul. Bound to me through mystical means by the consumption of my blood... that V8... well it was spiked. The bond compels you to follow my wishes exactly should I desire it, and makes you extremely fond of me. I'm sorry Naomi, it was the only way. I have no intention of abusing the bond though. You have only a few secrets to keep, and you will be fairly free to lead your normal life for a while. You will never age, at some point you will have to vanish from mortal eyes and records though."

It was a nice way of saying enjoy your family and friends while you still can.

She leaned against him and cried. "It's not as if I really ever existed anyway..."

She hit him on the arm-- not hard, but out of frustration.

"You DID drug me!" And she just held him.

He hugged her

"I'm sorry Naomi, it was the only way. But now... now you have forever to do any sort of project you want. What do you want to build, to learn, to know? It's all in front of you if you just reach out and grasp for it. You matter now, a lot."

"Mr. Johnson... I... I don't feel so good," she said as her knees began to buckle.

Really-- this is a shock. And why wouldn't it be? He'd bared fangs, turned cold, healed a self inflicted wound, shown a lack of a heartbeat and disappeared right in front of her.

How would anyone else take it?

"Call me Marvin. There is another thing I can do, which I think you will greatly enjoy. Think of the best sex you ever had, the greatest physical pleasure you've experienced. Now understand that from now on it will be dull compared to this."

He sank his fangs into her wrist, and while doing so, drank a unit of her blood.

The poor thing had never had sex... So there was nothing to compare it to.

She buckled under her own weight, screaming and writhing-- but in the standard Kiss kind of way. She didn't mind the crash to her knees-- though she would definitely feel it later. Naomi threw her head back in ecstasy, the 1 unit of blood not enough to really effect her.

He held the bite longer than needed just to let her enjoy it. Finally releasing it Marvin chuckled

"There are many pluses to serving a vampire. That was just one of them Naomi."

She looked up at him from her kneeling position on the floor-- giving him glassy puppy dog eyes as her heart raced.

"...More...?"

"I drank some of your blood then too, but it is not always needed when I bite you. We call it the Kiss by the way. Take off your clothes, I do have an eye for beauty and like to see a woman fully enjoy herself. And yes, I will Kiss you again."

Naomi was shy. Very shy. But she trusted him...

She turned her back to Marvin and slowly undressed, keeping her panties on, but nothing else. She held her arms crossed over her chest to cover her breasts as she turned to him. Her cheeks were bright read.

"More?..." She asked again in an even softer tone.

"Oh you poor thing, you are shy. Well, we have centuries to work on that."

Gently he took her wrist, and gave her the Kiss again.
