He met Estaban's eyes coolly.

"I do not know. Just how much have you spoken of me to your little redhead?"

He shrugged.

"Less than you would think. I warned her and helped her to know how to treat you when she spent time with you, told her I loved you. None of your secrets. None of your past glories or conquests."

"I wish that I could trust that was true."

He sighed.

"Read my mind if you wish. or my aura. Tell me if I am lying."
