Except that it involved someone with Obten. As for an Anarch Keeper, I'd probably be very, very nice to them. And then make very good deals to solidify my plans."

She nodded slightly at Johnathan's words. "Obtenebration, you say?" She perked a brow... then looked over towards Christine. She seemed to be pondering something, for a moment, then looked back to Johnathan. "I may be able to assist in the tracking of Obtenbration users, if you are certain that was what he used to obscure his face."

He shrugged. "Ask your Sheriff. Remember, I'm just the token tame anarch. Nobody tells me anything until suddenly I have my security Nos letting herself into my home to see tapes to establish my alibi."

She smiled.

"Excellent idea."

She nodded, seemingly growing very serious. "I will see what I can do... but I must say, doing such could be potentially very dangerous." She looked to Christine. "I will need your help... when you have some time, soon."

She nodded.

"Of course."

"Excellent." she beemed. "Well, that is all, from me. Unless there is anything else the two of you have need to speak to me on?" A curious tilt of her head as she regarded from person to person.

She shook her head.

"Go give the girl her ride."

She grinned. "Of course. Both of you, have a pleasnt evening." She dipped her head politely, and slipped on out the doors. She would wait for the party to die down, but wait it out in her room, for now.

"Have a good night" he smiled as she left.

"Mmmm so a Jack the Ripper knockoff. Explains the stylish outfit."

She nodded.

"Yes, it does. Now, would you like to pick up where we left off?"

"Yes. Primogen Darque. When I presented my case to her, she pegged me for who I was and exhibited a familiarity with my past, and then told me she felt the prince had overstepped himself and that she would support my claims for that reason. I offered her concessions if she wished it, and she said she did not require any."

She nodded.

"I see."

"I suspect either there are a lot of idealists on the council... which is unlikely, or that enough needed a catalyst to voice their discontent and express their power, which is more likely."

She snarled.

"And there are babies who want to tangle with people they know nothing about."

"Ahhh...." He said cautiously "do I want to know?"

She shook her head.

"Likely not."

"Do you need anything else from me tonight?"

She shook her head.

"No, Mr. Grant. If you have elsewhere to be, you have my leave to depart."
