"Yes, he does, but that can be harnessed if you guide him to reacting the way you wish him to."

She nodded.

"I am trying to figure out how to do that."

"He is a Tremere who says he would be an Anarch if he could get away with it, which as near as I can understand is nearly impossible for his clan, so I won't dismiss it as a personal weakness as I normally would. He is American, although I do not know of which era. A man of action, perhaps a former soldier or marine, or law enforcement. Suspicious of most, and maintains a peculiar attitude towards the Camarilla and holds to a rather strict and odd understanding of Prestation. I find that if you can lead him to think that he is supporting a rebel with a cause, or someone who will do 'the right thing' as he sees it, you will gain his support and action. It is, how I got his support for my cause after all."

She smiled.

"Thank you."

"You are welcome. For some reason people feel inclined to either clam up around me or completely open up. Were I a devious man, I could likely cause a lot of problems among people within the Domain."

She smiled.

"You can feel free to funnel that information towards me whenever you feel the desire."

"What" he said with a smirk "Do you think I'm doing now?"

"Now there are some interesting things. Casseil Vella, a Rose for instance was rescued by myself in the swamps not too recently. She was lost, naked and in shock. I brought her back to the Sheriff, and since then have learned very little as to what was threatening her, other than the fact it comes at you in your dreams and that a protective circle of salt seems to help. Ward of the Prince or not, suffice it to say I got no thanks, nor did expect any. It was just the right thing."

"Then we have Teddy Blue, who also is the lover of the Prince's former ghoul Medwynn. A caitiff and aligned with the Roses, she carries my letter of credit. And protection. In fact I told her to seek you out for representation among the family, although she declined politely. A toymaker and a brilliant mind, she makes some marvelous clockwork devices. Very humane and very valuable even for a caitiff."

"Let's see... I have Raz0r on my security payroll, so she clearly knows everything that I am doing, which is fine because I've also bought as much of her silence as is possible. There are a couple of Tricksters in town, the Lazorovichs, brother and sister. The brother Dima makes beautiful music boxes, while Sasha is something of a seductress and suspicious of capitalism. It might do though to meet them both and sound them out. I think they could be useful people."

She sat back with a smile.

"I see. I might have to do that."

"Somebody needs to round up and organize the independents into something useful. I'm sort of trying, but it's almost default that they understand they will find welcome among the Anarchs. Then there is Robert Benson. Caitiff and independent. He came around trying to feel out the meaning of what an Anarch is, and I suspect he did not like my answer, because he went to Blake and likely got a Blake style answer, which is more in line with the modern Rabble. Either he's sect shopping, or he's spying for the Harpy. I'm not sure which. Either way, I trust him not, which means by extension I trust the harpy not, as they are lovers I believe."

She nodded.

"I see. This does not surprise me."

He nodded "I have now way of gauging this. I suspect the Harpy does not like Anarchs, but that is hardly an exclusive social club in these modern nights. The Primogen Darque though, seems to care little but is upset with the Prince."

She nodded.

"How so?"

There came a soft knocking upon the office door. Michelle stood there, patiently, in a flowing silk knee length skirt and slightly form hugging button up long sleeved shirt with the arms rolled up to the elbows. All black, of course. She patiently awaited the response, eyes glancing down the stairs at the sounds of the party with a slight smile.

Johnathon held his response when he heard the knocking on the door

"Michelle. Welcome. How are you settling in?"

She slipped in with a smile and nod do the Primogen. Upon seeing Johnatha, her smile brightened a bit. First, she spoke to Christine. "Thank you. I am doing well, with the transition. Lovely home is perpetually lovely. Thank you, again." Then looked to Johnatha. "Hey, you. Good to see you again!" and seemed like she ment it.

"Good evening Michelle" he smiled "I can step out if you two have business"

She laughed.

"No, John. Michelle is living here until she gets on her own two feet. I have extend to her my representation."

"Excellent" he smiled "It should be a mutually beneficial relationship. Now if I could only find an Anarch Keeper" he teased

A soft nod, backed up what the Primogen stated. Not that she needed backing, but yeah...

"Which, hopefully, will not be too much longer." said with a tone of annoyance, in the slow manner things were getting done on her end.

"But no... no need for you to step out. I was just coming by to see if any new information has turned up about the Ripper killings, and if I might be of some assistance in the matter." She looked upon Christine with a slightly tilted head. "Also, to offer teh birthday girl a fun ride in my car, if she is intersted in such things. Feel like I should get her... something..." lower lip lightly nibbled.

"Ah, so you've heard of them too.... and birthday?"

She smiled.

"No, Michelle. Nothing that I have heard. And you do not have to, but I'm sure she would love it."

She turned to John.

"Yes. The party downstairs is a sweet sixteen for one of my girls."

"Fucker supposedly looks like me" he muttered "Although I'm wondering now if he's just trying to do a Jack the Ripper knockoff, including Victorian attire. And Happy Birthday" he chuckled

Eyes floated to Johnathan. "Heard of the 1888 Ripper Killings? Yes. Heard of the most recent incarnations of the killings? Yes, I was involved in one of the crime scenes, actually. Unforunately, there wasnt much I could do on the matter. I did note that he looked like you, which was rather upsetting. I thought I might have to track you down and confront you on such things." She smiled. "And whatever would you want with an Anarch Lasombra? Much less... would you even know what to do with one, if you had one?" she grinned, teasing the man of course.

Her eyes shifted to the Primogen. "It would be my honor, to show her a bit of a good time. Sixteen only happens once... for most..."

She nodded.

"That would be appreciated. Once the party calms down."
