"The newest crop is almost nothing but. Or at least, those are the ones who are most prevalent."

He shook his head in disgust. "Sad. So very sad. More like petulant teenagers than true freedom seekers."

She nodded.

"It is the state of the world. And why I am so willing to help you. I hope to see you influence some of the young ones."

"Well that is a scary thought "he laughed.

She laughed as she pulled the armor from the package, holding it up.

"I much prefer your type to that of those that are more common these days."

"It is a pity how the cause has fallen. So why does your prince dislike ventrue?"

"Well, to start with, he's Brujah. To end with, he was once tortured by one of us. A man I haven't heard of in a decently long time."

"So his logic is flawed. Branding the whole for the individual. Much as I feared. "

"It is a bit of both. He is Brujah. There is tension there between the clans."

"That is true, and cannot be helped, but still not an excuse for broad prejudice. It is like snubbing a coolie or Negro simply for not being white. "

She laughed.

"Yes, very like."

"Or for being a scotch catholic. I think the highlander there needs a reminder of history. How do you like the armor by the way "

She smiled.

"It is lovely. Thank you."

"Excellent" he smiled. "So what is liable to make your prince behave in a reasonably civilized fashion towards ventrue and anarch alike ?"

She shrugged.

"He acts civilly just fine. I don't need him to like us. Just to behave himself in a reasonable fashion. And he tends to do just that."

He nodded. "Always a plus. His council is not happy with things right now though. That worries me. "

"How so?"

"I know tremere and malkavian are unhappy with recent expansion. Others may be as well. I fear much discontent that will bleed over to the masses "

She nodded.

"I know. And I am doing my best."

"That is reassuring" he smiled. "Have you met the tremere Ganic much ?"

She nodded.

"I have. He is quite young."

"By your standards, that would be most people " he chuckled.

She snorted.

"Quite young is less than a few decades. He's a babe in swaddling."

"12 years awake here " he laughed. "I make up for it with American persistence, and western pluck. "

She pointed at him.
