Ten Minutes Ago (Teddy) - Creator's Workshop

She bit her lip, brushing her fingers across the label of the bottle.
"So could I" she smiled softly.

He looked over at her as he started to add the pieces of chicken to the now-hot pan, turning the water on with his elbows to take care of any contamination issues. He was washing his hands as the meat started to sizzle and his lips curved into a smile. "You sure? I'm told I'm a royal pain in the ass at times. Especially in the kitchen."

The hands that found his back were gentle as they snaked around his waist and moved up his chest as the Caitiff gently pressed her chest against his back, resting her cheek against his shoulder with a low sigh as she closed her eyes for a few moments.
"I'm sure..." Teddy whispered softly. "You're not a royal pain" she said with a low chuckle. "You're sweet, and you're kind, and you're gentle..." she turned her head so she could nuzzle against his back, take in his scent with a deep breath. "And you're passionate, and considerate... and giving..."

Occupied as he was with the chicken, he tilted his head so that he could brush his cheek against her. Whether she could see it or not, he was smiling, his free hand finding hers and rubbing affectionately. "You might be surprised. The truth is, I'm very picky about the kitchen."

The blond chuckled, moving so she could press a soft kissto the back of his neck.
"And I'm picky about my men, so it adds up nicely" she whispered against his skin with a smile.

He started to laugh, turning his head to glance at her. He looked amused. "You are? How are you picky about your men?"

"Mmm, I like men who are kind, who have a good smile and a horrible sense of humor. Who likes to cook and sleep in, and who'll push me against the wall and tell me they want me. I like men with strong hands..." her own drifted down his chest, slipped around his waist to move down between their bodies to pinch his buttocks again.
"Who jumps when I pinch them" she chuckled playfully.

He did jump when she pinched him. But he was laughing, his head turning to look at her with that same grin. "And I'm all that? Wow, you make me sound amazing."

And she was grinning, happily so as she bit her lip with a low chuckle under her breath.
"You are amazing... so incredibly, wonderfully amazing..." Teddy sighed, resting her forehead between his shoulderblades. "God, I love you..."

His hand found hers around him. Though he couldn't take his attention away from the food or it would burn, he gave her hand a squeeze. "I love you, too. Wonder how the hell that happened?"

"Freak accident. Alien mindprobe. I don't care" she smiled, squeezing his fingers gently. "As long as you love me I don't care how or why..."

Confusion crossed his face for a moment, then he laughed. "Oh! I thought you were trying to confuse me for a second." He shook his head, turning so that he could kiss the top of hers. "Love, I was thinking more that I'm usually so careful to not let myself fall in love with anyone. Since I don't let myself feel like that, I'm just wondering how you managed it."

She drew her breath and looked up at him with a warm smile.
"Maybe it just felt right..."
Because he and everything about him had felt right to her.

He removed the chicken from the heat, just so he could turn toward her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her, slow and sweet. He was still waiting for the water in the pot to boil, so he had time for that. He brushed his lips lightly over hers a second time, leaning up to look her in the eye. "That's probably it."

She returned the kiss, reaching up to brush her hands gently across his cheek and the side of his neck, gazing into his eyes with a smile as she leaned lightly against him.
"I wonder what I've done to deserve you?" the little blond smiled brightly.

He laughed. "You must have pissed somebody off if you've gotten stuck with me." He was joking, so said the wink he gave her as he rubbed his hand lightly over her back in a gentle caress.

She knew he was joking yet it needed to be said.
"Silly..." Teddy sighed with a smile. "You're the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me..."

He started to laugh. "Oh, Teddy, you should really get out more, if that's the case!" He was joking, jovial in his tone as well as the way he squeezed her gently again.

"Shut up and kiss me" the brightly smiling Caitiff chuckled, pushing herself up onto her toes so she could reach his lips.

"With pleasure," he said. The food was forgotten for a few moment as he drew her even closer, close enough so that she pressed against him. Without another word, he brought his lips to hers, the gentle press of his lips moving over hers as she had requested.

Her lips parted softly as they touched his, one hand cupping his cheek as she kissed in return with a slow, almost lazy sigh of pleasure under her breath. Just him... all she wanted was just him and she'd been so afraid, so very afraid that he would turn her away. That he was there now? It meant the world to her. So she let the moment linger, tasting him with soft lips and gentles sounds of her pleasure.

He loved her sounds. Enough that they made him shiver, almost as if he was cold, though he was anything but. He held her close, his mouth over hers. And he let the moment linger, glancing once toward the stove so that there wouldn't be any burning of the food. "I love you, Teddy." She seemed to like it when he said it, so he would keep saying it, just for the look it brought to her face.

The look those words brought to her face? It couldn't be described by any other word but truly happy. And no, no one could make her feel as happy as he did because those words, from him, were more precious to her than anything.
"I love you too" Teddy smiled at him, gentle fingers caressing and touching as if unable to truly get enough of him.

He let the moment linger. He brushed hair out of her eyes, leaning close to brush a kiss over her lips. "Good. I like the sound of that." He glanced over his shoulder again, at water that was beginning to boil. "And I'm going to completely ruin the moment, and say that I need to add pasta to the water."

"Mm... silly pasta" the Caitiff chuckled, stealing a quick kiss from him before pulling away with a happy smile. "I'll go set up the movie" she added with a wink, taking a couple of steps back before turning to more or less skip over to the tv.
