Ten Minutes Ago (Teddy) - Creator's Workshop

He watched her for a moment, because he liked to watch her skip. And wiggle. With a grin still on his face, he turned to dump pasta into boiling water, keeping a good stir with it so that it wouldn't stick together. "This is way too cozy and homey, you know," he said to her over his shoulder.

"No such thing as too cozy or homey" her still smiling voice sounded from the tv corner as she started up the PS3 and the hard drive, fixing the table and grabbing a blanket so they'd have something to curl up under later.

He laughed as he stirred pasta, glancing toward the living room as he answered her. "You'd be surprised. You probably don't want me to get too used to this, do you?"

Teddy's head appeared around the corner with a smile.
"I think I'd need to sleep on that one because I'm inclined to say you couldn't get too comfortable when I love having you around as much as I do"

He looked over at her and laughed. "I'm just waiting for you to yell at me. 'God, Medwyn! You're so fucking annoying!'" He grinned at her. "I hear that a lot."

"Mmm, I'll consider it when I start finding your dirty socks under my pillow or something" she grinned before disappearing around the corner again to switch through the hard drive until she found the movie he'd wanted to see.

He brought the pan full of pasta to the sink, draining it and starting to run the hot water so that he could rinse the noodles. He started laughing again, shaking his head. "Dirty socks under your pillow? Not likely, love. I'm a ghoul. I know where the hamper is."

"See? No worries then" came the laughing reply as she walked back into the kitchen, because it was a whole fifteens step at most or something, picking up the bottle and moving up next to him so she could stand on her toes and pick a glass off one of the shelves.
"Besides, your manners are better than mine. If anything I'm the one who ought to be worried about getting on your nerves"

He laughed, pulling out a plate, so he could start getting himself a plate of pasta. "Manners? I don't have manners. I just have a domitor who smacks me in the back of the head. And he hits hard."

"Mm, Brujah. No kidding"
Yup, they hit hard. She knew.

"Movie's ready" the blond smiled, touching a kiss to his shoulder as she moved past him to bring the glass and the wine over to the table.

He smiled at her, tilting his head. "Since it's pasta and might stain, would you rather I ate at the table first, did the dishes, and then watched the movie?" He honestly didn't mind either way.

"Eh, don't be silly. Coffee table will do won't it? Besides, it's cozyer" she smiled at him, placing the glass and the wine bottle down before patting the sofa next to her. "Please?"

He carefully balanced the plate in one hand while he slid onto the sofa with her. He wiggled his rear until he was comfortable, smiling over at her as he picked up the glass of wine she had sat down for him. He sipped it first, just to judge the taste of it, before he even bothered to turn to the plate in his hand. "Works for me. I really appreciate that you put up with me. A lot of Kindred consider it rude to eat in front of them."

"I'm not putting up anything. I don't see why this would be rude. I think it's cozy" the Caitiff smiled at him, pressing play and pulling her feet up into the sofa as she wrapped her arms around her knees to pull them in close.
"I like it that you can relax around me"

He laughed, reaching over so he could give her a gentle squeeze. And pull her closer. Much closer and she would be on his lap, but he didn't have a problem with that. "Some Kindred think it's like mocking them or something, because they can't have food anymore. I'm just glad you don't think I'm trying to mock you or anything." He shook his head again. "I'd be happy to not ever have to worry about eating again."

His lap was a very good place to be, not as if she'd complain about that. So when he pulled her in she helped move so they could both be comfortable. A smile across her lips.
"Yeah well, stupid Kindred if they think so. Actually, it's pretty petty of them though, looking at you cook, the way you seem to enjoy it so much, would you really rather not have to eat anymore?"

He took a bite of pasta. Chewing and swallowing before he answered, he was nodding before he spoke. "Yes. I like to cook, I don't necessarily like to eat."

"Hm"
She rested her head on his shoulder, looking to the tv and the movie that had started playing.
"Well, we all have to eat one way or another. Just my diet is a bit simpler"

He brushed a kiss over her forehead as he turned his attention to the TV. "That's a fair assessment. Doesn't mean that most Kindred aren't retarded about it."

"At least you don't have to worry about that with me" the smiling blond sighed there she curled up on his lap to watch a silly movie. A very good way to spend an evening. Especially one that could've ended so badly.

He grinned over at her as he brought the plate in front of him. "Well, if you were an idiot, I wouldn't be here."

"Point for me!" Teddy chuckled, brushing her lips against the side of his neck before resting her head on his shoulder again.

He gave her a sideways glance. "Are we keeping score now?"

"You'd win by miles if we did so, no" Teddy poked her tongue out at him. Very mature.

He leaned over so he could kiss her tongue. "Why would I win?"
