Ten Minutes Ago (Teddy) - Creator's Workshop

She had no words to really give him, though the sweet sound that was muffled against his lips still said a lot as she returned the caress with a touch of her own passion. Her hand still resting on the back of his shoulders, grasping lightly at his jacket so she could pull herself up against him and move into his touch as much as possible.

With great reluctance, he pulled away from her lips. He smiled, reaching up to brush her thumb over her lips once again. "I'm going to take care of this, Teddy. I promise."

She kissed his thumb as he brushed it across her lips, a soft smile lingering now as she gave a light nod of her head.
"I trust you..." with, well, everything...

He smiled again, leaning close for another kiss. "I'll be back. Are you busy tonight?" He was not going to let her go without the assurance that he would, indeed, see her again.

Her eyes drifted shut as his lips touched hers again, letting the feeling linger for a few moments before shaking her head slowly.
"No, no plans tonight..." she said gently, hoping that perhaps it meant he'd come by again...

He brushed his hand over her cheek. "Dinner, then?" Because once the stress faded? He'd be hungry. He always was.

That earned him a happy nod.
"Dinner" Teddy smiled brightly, soft fingers brushing across his cheek with a loving touch. "Any wishes or do you want to be surprised? Or, want me to wait and we can cook when you come back?" because that was nice too. Really nice. Even with a tiny kitchen it was fun just because she got to do so with him.

He pursed his lips in thought, then nodded before he said anything. He leaned close to kiss her gently. "If you want, I can pick up something on my way back, then we can cook it together?"

"Sounds good" Teddy smiled at him, her fingers once again brushing across his cheek and into his hair, justs so she could close her fist gently in it and hold that kiss for a few precious moments more before letting go. Very reluctantly letting go.
"I'll be waiting for you. Lover.."

He didn't seem to want to let go of her, either. But he eventually did, pausing once again to brush his lips across hers. "Mm. I like that. I'll be back shortly." He flashed her a grin and stole another quick kiss before turning for the door again.

Gently her arms slipped away from him, though her gaze lingered on him still as she bit her lip softly. Her hands brushing against his back one last time as he turned to leave.
"I'll see you soon" the blond smiled gently.

He smiled. "Yes, you will."

She nodded with a smile and watched him leave. In fact, she stayed and waited to hear his footsteps fade as they disappeared down the stairs, listened to the door opening and closing and him locking it before she actually closed her apartment door and, well... waited.
Though honestly?

She closed the door and turned around, leaning her back against it and sliding down onto the floor as she bit her lip and pulled her knees close to her chest.

He...said he loved her....

No matter what happened from there on out? At least that had her smiling. A lot.

It was three hours later when there came another knock at the Caitiff's door.

And the door? It was quickly opened, both because there was a limit as to how long it could take her to get from one end of the apartment to the other and secondly, because she'd been sitting on the edge of the bed for the last half hour simply waiting. Which in turn meant she needed a whole five steps or so to make it to the door.

He was standing there, arms loaded with grocery bags. He smiled at her, though he looked a little tired. "I brought pasta. Hope that's okay?"

Okay?
The blond, who'd changed into a pair of dotted pj pants and a tank top let out a soft sigh of relief as she smiled up at him, reaching out to brush her fingers across his cheek gently before holding out her hands to help him with the groceries.
"I think that sounds wonderful" she smiled warmly at him.

He handed her some of the bags with a smile. He was happy to see her smile, though, and that much showed through in his face and eyes, in his mannerisms. "Good. It just sounded like comfort food, honestly."

Teddy took the bags with a lingering smile as she took a couple of steps backwards into the small apartment.
"Kick your shoes off and join me in the kitchen?" she said. "I haven't made pasta in ages so I think you'll need to lead on this one" the blond added, though still unable to take her eyes off him. Because he was.. he was there.. and what he'd told her earlier? That fluttery feeling of butterflies still lingered.
It was a very good feeling.

He stepped inside the door, already starting to laugh. "Pasta is probably one of the easiest things in the world to make. But I'll be more than happy to take the lead and show you how it's done." He smiled and reached out his arms for her. "After I get a hug and kiss, though."

Oh uhm, quick look around and the grocery bags were somewhat unceremoniously just dumped on the bed. Just so the blond could throw her arms around him as quickly as possible, nuzzling into his chest for a moment to take in his scent before lifting her head to look up at him and meet his eyes with a smiled whisper.
"You're tall..."

He stooped just a bit, so that he could get his arms around her properly. There, he pulled her close and kissed her, his mouth moving warmly against hers. A gentle caress, before he pulled back to look at her. "Mmm, yes, I am." He reached up to brush hair out of her face. "Did you miss me?"

The little blond leaned into his arms as she returned the caress with soft, gentle lips, answering him with a content sigh before he pulled back to speak.
"Yes..." Teddy smiled up at him, gentle hands resting on the back of his shoulders. "More than I think you can understand..."

That caused him to look at her curiously. He still held her, though, he was going to have to get to the food soon... it had been entirely too long since he had eaten. "Oh? Want to explain?"

"From you left until now? It's felt like time has stood still. It's been the longest wait in my life. Just to see you again, touch you... I'm still so very glad that you still want me..." she said softly.
