Ten Minutes Ago (Teddy) - Creator's Workshop

He laughed, leaning over so he could lightly kiss her again. "I'm only joking, love. I'm glad you want me so much."

"Always" she smiled into the kiss, giving his lips a light lick with the tip of her tongue before pulling back so she could look at him.

He laughed, quietly, growling lightly and snapping his teeth near her tongue when she licked him. But it was playful. Obviously, the German had no intention of hurting her. "Always?"

The Caitiff chuckled though he might've felt the light shiver that rushed through her when he growled. She just couldn't help the effect that had on her.
"Always" Teddy repeated with a playful smile.

He grinned over at her. "I might have to test that out, you know."

Teddy, resting her head on his shoulder, looked up at him as she reached up with one hand to brush her fingers across the back of his cheek without taking her eyes off of him.
"Feel free to do that..." she smiled. "It's not as if I'd tell you no.."

He laughed softly, his head tilting to her hand and brushing his cheek against her fingers. He leaned close to brush her lips over his again. "You probably should. It's not like I'd be offended if you did."

The blond smiled when she felt the brush of his lips against her own, her eyes drifting shut as her hand cupped his cheek.
"And if I don't want to say no?"

He laughed quietly. "Then we're both screwed. But it's okay... we'll just call them life experiences and move on."

She stole a soft, light kiss from his lips and smiled up at him again.
"I can work with that" Teddy chuckled, gently brushing her thumb across his cheek with a content, happy smile.

He grinned at her, leaning to rest his head against hers. "Good. Because it's not like I actually want to stop at all."

Slowly, the hand at his cheek drifted around and into his hair as she grinned, all too happy to simply hold him close like this. Even if a part of her felt a little guilty for once again having distracted him from his meal.
"Me neither... I want you entirely too much for that..."

He laughed quietly. "We're a right mess, you know that?"

"I still love you..." she whispered softly. "And love this... us... Even if we are a right mess"

He leaned over so that he could give her lip a light nip with his teeth. "So, out of curiosity, and along the same line of conversation... what is it that you're hoping for out of this relationship?"

"Someone to wake up next to..." she said softly, gazing into his eyes as she continued to speak. "Someone to confide in and trust, who'll let me love them and care for them. Who'll protect me and let me protect them" the blond bit her lip softly as she continued to gaze up at him. "Someone who'll hold me when I'm being an idiot, who'll still say they love me when I've managed to turn all their socks pink" she added with a low chuckle. "Us, together as a family... that's what I want..."

He nodded as he listened, sliding one arm around her so that he could pull her close. "I can do most of that. I don't know about family, though... It's been my experience that most Kindred have to make their own families." He tilted his head and smiled at her. "Who do you want in your family besides me?"

She took his plate and leaned over to place it on the table so he really could pull her close. The blond shifting over so she could straddle his lap and look him in the eyes as they talked, softly brushing her fingers through his hair.
"Family are the people you love and care for" Teddy smiled at him. "So that's the point. We get to choose who we like and they'll be our family be they your best friends or actual relatives"

He pulled her more snugly into his lap, wrapping his arms around her. He grinned up at her, leaning up to brush a kiss against her chin. "I quite agree. But you haven't told me who you want in our family."

She closed her eyes with a smile.
Mmm... I like the people you call family... Rhiana, Jamie"" the others as well, her words suggested as much even if she hadn't yet met everyone. "My best friend Cassie.. They all feel like family to me"

He seemed just a little surprised. "Cassie? You mean Miss Vella?" Cue the awkward turtle.

Well, it wasn't as if anyone had told her now was it? So the slightly surprised look seemed to surprise her in return.
"Yeah" the Caitiff said with a soft smile. "I don't have that many friends. Real friends I mean, that I really do trust. But Cassie's good. She's always been good and she really is my best friend"

He nodded with an almost embarrassed smile. "Got it. Miss Vella joins the family, then." Noooot going to mention it. Not yet, anyway.

Alright, so he wasn't going to mention it. She wasn't aware that there was anything to really mention. Though she had to ask what it was when he smiled at her like that.
"What?" she tilted her head gently to the side with a soft chuckle. "Why are you looking like that?" the blond smiled.

He shook his head and leaned forward, enough to press his head against her chest. "Promise you won't hate me?"
