What is wrong with you? (Grant/Shauna) - Lowrey Manor

She stood on her front porch.  Just waiting.  In plain view.

Shauna walked up no Johnathan in sight. She had texted before she came over to explain why that would be. He sooo needed to cool off. She gave Christine a wave before she got closer to show she was fine. As she stepped up. "Did you call him? And do you have a stake handy cause that was his suggestion for me to carry..."

She nodded.

"He should be here soon. And I have no worry that he will harm me. Or you."

And show up he did, wearing an undershirt and suspenders, his car tearing the gravel "a telephone call works well too he said approaching the porch. "

Shauna smacked her forehead into her hand and sighed. "Lovely." She muttered softly.

She smiled.

"When I get a text saying that one of my people has gone over the edge, I don't mess around."

He sighed "yesler called it lunacy. "

"Textbook Manic. Moon driven Lunacy. I knew a Brujah with it years back." Shauna said eyeing Johnathan up and down. "Hand Breaking. Touchy on anything emotionally charges and Paranoia with some light delusions thrown into the mix."

She nodded.

"Do you want me to try to calm it? Or lock you in a room so that you cannot hurt yourself or others? I will do what is needed to keep my people safe."

He shook his head. "I can shake dominate commands. It comes with the moon. I'll be better for a few weeks. What I need is to get my mind in tune with this time which will happen soon enough. Did you know they landed a man on the moon? Amazing"

She smiled.

"Yes, I did know this. It was amazing. And they have never been back."

"Fools. So much potential. "

Shauna stared at him right out of the block. "So coming onto to me all speaking of Justicars visiting you, losing your domain The whole carrot and stick of money influences war and such... all that was just the Lunacy talking. The fact we were sitting on a dock discussing that and how you were so overwhelmed just a few minutes ago is now just 'no no everything is fine hunky dory and plum terrific' just a few minutes later? Now your going to talk about history lessons of man on the moon..." The last said dryly.

"Stress and a beast more active now than usual. It was either that or frenzy. Pick one. "

"I pick not to have to walk around with a stake handy any time the moon is full just in case an Anarch/Indy Brother decides to lost his cool worse than a Brujah." She looked to Christine. "He's all yours Chief.

"Lunacy is a tricky disease. And it's rather odd. Which is why, Johnathon, I would rather you stay here for the duration. It's not anything against your self control. I would just rather not have to clean up any unfortunate messes."

His initial response was to sit down and roll a cigarette. Exhaling the smoke he too sighed. "There is no duration. It is always. If you mean until the moon was waned a bit more I might concede. I have much to do though. I need to find some land, acquire arms, meet some politicians, and ahh go bring some flowers to a rather charming nos. "

She smiles.

"I mean only that you should stay here for the three days of the full moon. Likely every month until you come to terms with modern society. My people will understand your lunacy. Out there, people will not."

"That is agreeable and I thank you. "

Another drag on the smoke as he stared out into the night. "I cannot imagine what one who slept when a pre industrial society were the norm. would feel upon awakening after centuries.

She smiles.

"I did it once. It was a wonder I was sane when I woke in the middle of the Renaissance. That was the last time I slept for any length of time."

"A lucky time to wake. You are fortunate to not have this curse. Ah it will pass and soon I think. Remember too this was all swamp when I slept too. Still , I shall persevere "

She nodded.

"And your family will help you. Now, why don't you head up to your room. The same one as last time will work. I'll have some clothes brought up."

He nodded and crushed out the cigarette. "Thank you" with that, he rose bowed his head politely to the two women and headed for the room

She turned to Shauna after their Brother had gone inside.

"There, easily handled."

Shauna nodded. "Good. Now I get to go back out to handle the non kindred version that happens with the rest of the populace." She tipped an non exxistant hat and gave her a smile. "Later."
