Teagan in a Tub (Teagan) - Bathtub Beach

She doesn't reply instead opting to swim pushing against the sea allowing her hands to cut through the water as if fighting some thing. A memory, a thought, herself. Whatever it was she want sharing. At about the mile mark she stopped and waited for Medwyn to catch up.

He was only a few paces behind her. He barely even seemed winded, though he smiled at her as he started to tread water again.

"Anyone else you want to know about?"

"I think I might just be gossiped out." she replied with an easy going teasing smile.

He smiled.

"It's a vicious pasttime."

"One you seem adept at... did you spend too much time with the Toreador?" she teased.

He laughed.

"Hardly. People just forget that a ghoul can hear as well."

She laughed at that, "Always assume the walls have ears."

He laughed.

"You might be surprised how many of your kind forget that."

"Or they are like me and have no secrets." she smirked.

He snorted.

"A vampire without secrets is a myth."

"Well then call me a dragon." she teased.

He laughed.

"Fair enough."

She feigned insult, "You don't believe me." she accused with an indigence that was half real half teasing.

"Ask me a question.." she challenged.

He smiled.

"What was the real reason you brought me out here tonight?"

"Because you are a pleasant distraction." she replied.

His brow rose.

"That's all I am? A distraction?"

She chuckles softly, "No, I would like to think a friend perhaps now." he head tips to the side slightly as she treads water.

"The fact that you were able to distract me from all the dark up here..." she taps her side of her head, "was a good thing. Not an insult."

He tilted his head.

"Why is your mind so dark?"

"Memories mostly." she said softly.

"What kind of memories?"

"The kind that start out small, but then you scratch at them, till they just get deeper and deeper." She frowns.

"The kind that leave scars so deep they swallow you whole." she replied.

He shook his head.

"That only happens if you let it."

"Some if you face them head on, make you worse for it..." she whispered, "Others you have to destroy. Some are just too painful, and no matter what happens there is no right answer." she sighs softly.

"Sometimes it is nice to be distracted even if only for a little while."

He nodded.

"Then I'm glad I could help you."

"Still insulted?" she asked playfully.
