She'd told Medwyn where she'd be. Of course she would. She always did. Even if it still felt a bit like the trust she so badly and needed, the trust he'd said he wanted with her... was... well... it was a bit tarnished.
She'd completed her training at Chase's for the evening and and had left there to go to the beach where she'd spent the first night in her lover's arms. Which in turn meant that she loved that place.
The blonde's teddy bear was sitting in the sand, drawing with a stick where as the blonde? Was sitting with her naked feet dug into the sand, turning her ring over and over in her hands.
It was less than a month away. Her birthday. But, while she'd been looking forward to it with a hopeful wish for something she badly wanted, she wasn't s sure she was going to do anything special when the night finally came.
She hadn't earned the thing she wanted. She hadn't really had much of a chance. And then... then the whole frenzy and staking and bullshitting session had happened. And the gnawing ache in her gut had gotten worse than anytime before. Because something was different. And no one wanted to tell her.
The blonde turned her gold ring over in her hands again and thens lipped it back onto her finger with a slightly blue smile. She'd so hoped Medwyn would've been wearing her ring now. But... maybe... maybe, maybe in the future sometime...
It had been so silly to ask anyways. He didn't see her as ready for a collar, how could she think he'd be ready for a ring?
Teddy drew her breath, closed her eyes and let herself fall back onto her back, tucking her arms behind her head there she lay.
God how she wished someone would just talk to her and tell her what the Hell was going on.
God how she wished she didn't have to feel like she had to look over her shoulder all the time now.
