"Really and not you smell of raw hide?" with a soft chuckle, leaning over and kissing him again.

He laughed, kissed her, and started the Jeep. Pulling away from the building as he headed toward his own place. "Really. It means they like ya."

"Good to know, I am glad your babies think I am good enough for you." with a grin at him.

He laughed. "Ya petted 'em. That's why." But he winked at her.

"Then I'll keep petting them." wtih a grin and leaning over kissing his cheek. "Thank you again."

He smiled at her. Then he linked his fingers with hers as he drove. "It ain't a problem."

She kept her fingers linked with his, watching out the window as he drove, comfortable in the silence as they headed to get the boys.

He was fine with the silence as well. When they pulled up to his house, he smiled at her. "Ya wanna come in, or should I just run in and get tha boys?"

"I'd rather stay by your side at the moment." squeezing his hand.

He nodded and slipped out of the Jeep. He came around to open the door for her and held out a hand for her. "Sure thing, darlin'."

She took his hand and hopped out with him, going to head in and get his babies, and she started to tense to brace for their "Hello"

They jumped up to greet both of them. Of course they did. But he didn't let go of her hand, even when he started hugging and playing with his pets. "Go. Get the leash. Go." At least neither of them drooled on her.

They were taller than her, but she kept his hand "Wow no drool" as they went to get the leash. "I'm impressed."

He laughed. "I fed 'em before I came over."

"Ah so no drool if well fed, got it." with a grin at him.

He laughed. "Well, ya also ain't got any meat in ya hand. That helps."

"True just me, who is feeling even more petite than usual after their greeting." with a chuckle.

He laughed. "They're big dogs, that's for sure. They used ta belong to tha Woman."

Greer nods at him, "Well then they are in good hands now." said truthfully "and you probably spoil them a bit too."

He grinned. "Yeah, I do." He started hooking them up to leashes when they brought their leads back to him. "An' she was small, like you are. She had this thing for big animals, though. It was kina cute."

"They can make you feel safe." with a smile at him.

He laughed and took her hand to head back outside. "They can. But then, there's also me, who's big an' strong, too."

"You're more a partner in crime for them." with a smile as he took the leads.

He laughed and whistled so that they could jump up and into his Jeep. "True enough, I suppose. But they can be a little scary if ya piss 'em off."

"Not my plan any time soon. Did you notice htey are bigger htan me?" looking at him seriously. "I'd be what 2 bites."
