No answers (McKay) - Gilded Cage

He kept his hand in hers as he followed her into her bedroom.

She just stared at her closet, not sure at all what to pick, it's as if she's partially asleep but walking. "Pants?" looking at him.

He nodded. "Somethin' comfortable. You got any sweats?"

She went to her "yoga" pants drawer in a soft lavender pulled them out, dropped the robe, and slid them on. Plus the matching top, then reaching for a loose sweater for over top of it. Looking at him with a look of "Ok?"

He nodded and waved a hand to her. "That's perfect. Come here an' sit down. Let's brush ya hair an' pull it back for ya."

She sat down for him, her vanity has the brush, barrettes and hair ties.

He started humming a song as he started to brush her hair. He was gentle about it, and slipping a hair tie around his wrist for when he was ready to pull her hair back.

Her red locks brushed easily for him, he was easily able to pull her hair back and she looked up at him when he was done. "Thank you."

He leaned over and kissed her forehead. "Lotsa practice. Come on, let's go get tha boys."

"I agree." taking his hand, heading out with him "I'm not up to driving."

He took her hand and led her out of the apartment. "Ain't a problem, darlin'. I got ya covered."

"Good." leaning on him as they leave.

He slipped his arm around her shoulders. Pulling her to him as he walked toward the elevator. "Ya know it's gonna be all right, don'tcha?"

"You're here so it's going to be." plainly stated and honestly believed.

He smiled and kissed the top of her head when they got onto the elevator. "Happy ta help, darlin."

"You always do." leaning into him harder.

He smiled and led her out to the Jeep. "Good. Now, are ya wantin' me ta stay with ya tonight?"

"I'd like that." as she slid into the Jeep "But you don't have too." looking at him.

He looked over at her with an 'oh please' expression. "I know I don't have to. I asked what ya wanted."

She looks at him "I like you to stay, wake up with me and stay a bit before you head out." leaning towards him, then kissing him softly "But I hate to be a bother, and keep asking. I've told you, I'd take you every night."

He kissed her gently. "Ya ain't a bother, or I would just tell ya. Ain't my way ta just not answer."

"Yes stay please. Or if you are willing I'll let your babies slobber on me." with a soft laugh.

He laughed. "Stay at my place, ya mean? We can do that, too."

"Yes and I'm telling you they like to slobber on me." with a smirk at him.

He grinned. "It's a sign of approval."
