Muscial lessons (Greer, open) - Gilded Cage

Greer smiles at him "Yes so do you want to try again?" gently bumping him.

Charlie drew his breath, letting his steel blue eyes linger on her for a few moments longer as he smiled before turning back to the piano.
"Yes" he repeated, more to himself than to her. "With soul.." the youth bit his lip and proceeded to play the piece again, trying to incorporate more of the flow this time around. Feeling the music like he would when listening to someone else play, trying to translate that into the way he was doing it even if he was still on a bare minimum as far as technical level went.

Greer leans over puts her hands on his, "Not how you think another would" trying to help him feel the music.

He let out a soft chuckle, nodding again as he bit his lip softly.
"I understand that I just... it's not that easy" Charlie smiled, trying to find that feeling which was his own through her help. "I can translate it properly just yet" he said with a lingering smile even as he continued to let his fingers move across the keys, slowly finding that feeling she was talking about.

Her hand went to his thigh, as she leaned over again to turn off the metronome and wanted to see if that helped him feel it more.

The metronome helped a bit it would seem, the hand on his thigh might've been more of a distraction though. If it was though, he didn't let it show, simply keeping the smile while he continued to play, only briefly allowing his gaze to stray to her as he had by now memorized the sequence.
It sounded... well, better at least.

Greer hugged him, "That's much better!" with a grin at him. "So chapter 2 or you want to keep practicing? I can leave you alone with the piano."

He chuckled again when she hugged him, briefly moving a slender hand to touch her arm before smiling at her.
"The next chapter? Please? I want as much out of this lesson as I can" Charlie met her gaze with a lingering grin. "And you're a wonderful teacher"

"You are so sweet." with a smile at him, then started to explain the next chapter and had him practice. After completing chapter 4 - "So do you want to practice more or give your brain a rest?"

Leaning back slightly, Charlie took a deep breath.
"Short break" the youth smiled, lifting his hand to brush his fingers through his hair. "To gather my thoughts" he added with a chuckle as his eyes finally moved from the piano to her.
"This is going to take a while you know? Might end up having me running down your door for months"

"And that's bad why?" with a smile at him.

"You might tire if me? Charlie said, flashing her a smile that could've floored an angry bull.

Greer looks at Charlie "My dear I highly doubt that. It is you that will grow weary of me." with a knowing smile, Greer in her own right looked barely 16 maybe 17 and looked just as much like a youth.

Funny actually, how little separated them as far as physical age went, appearance wise that was. Charlie himself just barely having turned eighteen before his embrace.
"Grow tired of you? I can't imagine anyone doing so" he smiled, sounding quite sincere.

She grins at him "You are really too sweet, I am boring music this and music that." tucking her white strand behind her ear again "So anything else you'd like to do?"

"You're not boring at all" he smiled at her. "I meant it when I said I wouldn't grow tied of you"
Charlie brushed his fingers through his hair.
"If you wish, we could have a look at those linguistics lessons I promised you in return or if you rather do something else, perhaps I could take you out for a movie or something?" he offered.

"Oh a movie, let's go." with a grin at him.

Charlie got up with a chuckle, taking a moment to brush a hand across his shirt to straighten out any small creases that might've appeared.
"A movie then" the youth smiled at her. "Anything in particular you feel in the mood for?"

Greer smiles at him "Surprise me." heading to go get shoes.

The youth gave a light hearted shrug of his shoulders. Sure, he could do that.
He pushed the piano bench back in place and followed her to pick up his own shoes and jacket while pulling out his cell, briefly checking the time before putting it away again.

"Now.. let's see if I remember where to find a cinema in this city" he chuckled.

"I can call a cab." with a smile coming out in simple cream sandals "And I really have no clue what is in the cinema at this time."

"Oh, no need, I got my car outside" he slipped the keys from his pocket and smiled at her.
"And well, I have no clue either, but I guess we'll find out hm?" Charlie chuckled as he brushed past her to open the door, holding it for her as he motioned with a delicate hand. "Ladies first"

"Ah you're sooo sweet. I am still surprised someone hasn't eaten you right up." heading to the elevator.

"Guess my charm is slipping" he chuckled, following her to the elevator and resting his shoulders back against the wall as the doors slid shut. "Can't win all of them. Although, I am getting to spend time with you so I'm completely off my game now am I?" he grinned.

Greer looks at him "You are a tease, IF you wanted to do something with me you'd of done so or asked. So we're friends I think and movie, lessons and so forth is how we'll play." stepping into the elevator and waiting for Charlie to join her.
