Tuesday Night Dance 101 (Ali & Open)

And then the rush was over as the last call ended and the entire group of ladies behind the bar had a chance to relax...and politely turn away those who still wanted alcohol. Overall, she was mostly pleased with the way things had gone and, judging by the amount of people in the bar, it had been a fairly successful night financially as well.

Victor glanced over at Griselda after the people had left.

"Very entertaining and pleasant to watch."

She looked at Victor and flashed a pleased smile.

"Thank you! Glad you seem to have enjoyed it."

Ali turned to Abigail and Jaime, with a smile at them "Thank you very much for coming. I hope you enjoyed the dancing." with a nod to them, "I knew it was going to be amazing, I just didn't expect the bar to be this crowded." which was true.

"With people like you and Lady Victoria up there, even a blind man would be enthralled. Will you be doing this regularly?"

She looked around the bar and laughed.

"I hadn't thought about it. I mean, I dance here fairly often and it usually draws a bit of a crowd. I wasn't really expecting to need to have extra security and to be turning people away at the door and people filling up the parking lot. I suppose it would be good for the bar's finances if I did this regularly, but I really hadn't put that much thought into it."

"You need a bigger venue and I own a hotel..."

"Aye. 'Twas lovely dancin'. An' ye handled th' crowd verra well, lass. All in all, a good evenin', no?" he asked Abigail.

She looked at Victor and shook her head.

"That's missing the point. I'm not doing this because I want to perform. I'm doing this because it brings in people to the bar."

Ali smiled at him, "Glad you liked it. And Medwyn did more to handle the crowd then I did." with a blush glancing at her dormier.

Victor nodded. "Well it certainly filled the place up and then some. "

She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah...maybe a little too much."

"Have a lottery for admissions tickets next time. Probably boost your revenue even more as you can have different tiers of tickets for seating."

She tilted her head, thinking.

"Not a bad idea. I'll give it some thought."

"For an extra fee a select number of people can get a picture taken with you or something like that too. You could probably triple your revenue with just a few odd perks that cost you little"

Her nose twitched.

"Other than my picture being plastered all over town and probably the internet."

"As if it isn't now?" Victor said with a raised eyebrow. "But you get the idea. Some sort of limited perk that costs extra but is of nominal cost to the bar. You could probably get a liquor or beer company to provide a sponsorship... remind me to buy a local brewery by the way..."

She laughed.

"Fair enough. I'll give it some thought."

Victor laughed "Sad. I got nearly as excited about thinking of how to market this, as I did see the dancers"

She laughed.

"At least you're one of the few not trying to currently imagine me naked."

"Huh? Oh. I did that a long time ago. Then I went back to whatever I was reading at the time."

She opened her mouth to speak...then just shut it again and turned her head away. She was clearly taken aback by that statement and it was, in fact, slightly awkward for her.

"I said currently!"

"Well now that it's become a topic of discussion, it's somewhat hard to keep the thought from my mind" Victor said with another raised eyebrow "Even somebody as generally uptight and cold as I am would be stupid not to notice that you do a good job with what you have."

"However, no, currently I am not. I am actually thinking of how to maximize the income for this location, so that you may draw large sums of cash from people with less manners and tact than me."

She actually leaned over so that she could put her elbows on the counter behind the bar and bury her face in her hands.

"Fucking really?!"
