Night Two (open)

Dressed in black, she barely even cared what she was dressed like. She was sitting at the bar, actually knocking them back like a pro. Though she was beautiful, she had an air about her -- the air of 'leave me the fuck alone' for the most part. She wasn't unfriendly. Just not in the mood to deal with strangers.

He walked through the door, wearing a dress slacks and a blue dress shirt with the top button undone. He wore a regular leather jacket tonight, not a trench. Looking about taking in the scenery he stopped at the bar ordering a shot of tequilla, a polite nod toward Ra'Idah as he waited for his drink.

She barely even looked up. But she slid a shot glass toward him that was full, picking up a second one.

"Try this kind; it's smoother than the Cuervo that they're bound to give you."

Estaban came through the door. He looked different. Oh, for the first time in days he was dressed nicely, had fed and looked half way put together. No, the different was... he was wearing a long coat. she had never seen him wear a long coat. and it was buttoned all the way up.

And somehow he still looked good in it.

He went to the bartender and ordered a scotch... and a milk. Separate glasses. He scooted in next to ra'idah without saying anything and sipped the scotch.

Un-fucking-fair!

In answer, she picked up a second shot instantly after she had thrown the first back, downed it, and was already reaching for a third. Good God, she needed something to do with her hands, and if the only thing that could be done was that she was going to fill up on tequila, by all that was holy, she was going to be full of fucking tequila.

He still slowly sipped his whiskey. A good brand. Not hers, but this place didnt carry anything THAT good. Softly, casually he spoke.

"Hello CHica, come here often?"

Sniff sniff sniff.... Was Estaban sniffing her?

Her answer? It was simple:

"Not funny."

He smirked as she passed the glass to him..."I appreciate it, while cuervo can do the trick sometimes, a finer taste is sometime's needed..." He nodded to the man that walked in and planted himself right up to the women. He gave a light twirl of the alcohol before him before downing it.

It was Aha Toro, top-shelf and was akin to... well... biting into a cactus. It was very, very good.

"So, Blake, did you come here to see Celeste again?"

Powers of perception? Way the hell off right now.

He gave a light sigh. "Perhaps I should start wearing a name tag, you are the third person to mistake me for another." He turned toward the two one arm resting on the counter. "Names Alexander."

"Whats not funny? Just came here to drink.. and maybe talk if you would. And you never know who a person is talking home."

He was definitely sniffing.. and chuffing.. she could hear it. Not that he was obvious at it. Only when she looked away.

She blinked. And swore under her breath.

"Fuck, I'm sorry." She held out her hand for Alexander to take if he wanted to. "You look just like a..." she was going to say 'friend of mine' and then remembered that she and Blake? Not so much with the friends. They just weren't. "Guy I know." She'd settle for that.

Then she turned around and looked over her shoulder at Estaban. She blanched just a little bit.

"Never know who a person is taking home... but I already know who you want to take home, don't I?"

She sounded... oh, she sounded hurt. So very hurt. Because she obviously wasn't thinking of herself with that statement.

He looked at her. That hurt and it showed in his eyes. But he bullied through it. Cass had helped get his feet underneath him and he could handle this much..

"If you are thinking of you, you are right cara mia. But I was speicifcally thinking of something else."

He chuffed, but down into the coat and his stomach started to wiggle. No..It started to WIGGLE."

"It's quite alright, I'll have to attempt to find this dobleganger of mine and meet him, make sure he isn't making a bad reputation for me." He watched the man with her, a slight glaze took over his eyes but then was gone. Ahh memories.

She took another shot of tequila, because let's face it, the only reason she had said what she did? Because of what it was that he wanted from her. He did want her to bring Serena home. So maybe it wasn't the best choice of lines there, Toreador.

She seemed to be ignoring the wiggling, though. Just because... well... it was weird.

She smiled at Alexander.

"No, he's not really a troublemaker. Just a little annoying sometimes. British."

He looked over at the man though he really had other things on his mind

"Then look for a man named Landry as well. You look like him too."

"Ah, well we aren't all perfect, and good to know hes not a trouble maker. I do hate trouble makers." Looking to the man with Ra'idah. "That would be the other one that was mentioned."

She couldn't help but laugh softly.

"You some kind of White Knight or something?"

More chuffing. More wiggling. And When Rai turned to look at back.. the soun of lapping.

When she turned to look at Estaban.. if she did.. he was holding his whiskey, glass of milk still on the bar.. no lapping evidently.

"I've been called that before. I've also been called many other things."

She was pointedly not looking at Estaban. She just had to close her eyes to manage it. There was a time and place... and this was neither. She smiled at Alexander.

"Really? What else have you been called?"

More lapping and more lapping. And the Estaban noticeable chuffed again. And licked her hand when it went down to the bar.

Wait.. what?

"Practically any swear word you can think of in multiple languages, including creole and Navajo. It's always fun seeing what kind of response I can provoke from someone."

She laughed at that, shaking her head.

"I see. Are you that much of a cad--"

She broke off when her hand was licked. Because yo, that shit just doesn't fly in a bar. It really doesn't.

"What the hell?" she whirled on Estaban, her eyes blazing. Annoyed? Maybe just a little.

He just leaned back to see where that lick was going to lead...
