A talk with the twins - Creator's Workshop

They looked at each other, then looked at her.

"Her name-"

"-was Kassina. Kassina-"

"Armand."

Was...
"I take it she's not around anymore then..?" she asked softly.

They shook their heads.

"She died-"

"-thirty years ago."

"I'm sorry" the blonde said softly. "I can't quite imagine what that must've been like.."

They smiled, sadly.

"Very upsetting."

"To say the least. She was-"

"-beautiful. So very beautiful."

"I'm sorry for your loss..." she wished she could offer them some kind of comfort outside of those words that seemed so little. She reached across the table to offer each a hand if they would take it. "It's rough losing a loved one..."

They smiled.

"She had a good life."

"That's good. I'm glad to hear" even though a small part of her wished they'd been able to meet. "I'm glad she chose you. Maybe we add up to a bit of a strange family but... it's good to know where I come from"

They nodded.

"You would have liked her."

"Maybe I ought to learn to sing or something, kinda uhm... it probably sounds silly, but I kinda wanna do something to honour her memory. And to make you two proud..." since she wasn't exactly a model Daughter.

They exchanged a look that spoke volumes.

"We can-"

"-help you-"

"-with that. George is-"

"- a vocal coach."

"You'd do that? I mean, I'm not sure there would be much to work with. Like I said, I sing off key in the shower heh..." she rubbed the hack of her neck kind of sheepishly. "It would just be nice to be able to do something that's... a reminder of what I am and where I come from" since she now knew.

They nodded.

"It would be a pleasure."

"Thank you. That would really be lovely" and something she could do with her Sires.

They nodded.

"Do you play-"

"-any instruments?"

"I've never really tried, so apart from knowing a couple of chords on the guitar, no, not really" she could probably learn though, given a little time.

They nodded.

"What instrument do you like to hear?"

"I like the guitar and the piano, love the sound of a violin and the cello too" she liked a lot of instruments actually, but those were some of her favourites. "There's so many beautifully sounding instruments it's hard to chose"

They smiled.

"Why don't we-"

"-start with piano?"

"I'd love to" she smiled before remembering something. "I just don't actually got one.... but I can fix that"

They laughed.

"Having one does help."

"How can I repay you? I said I wouldn't ask for anything from you" but she didn't want to turn down their offer when she really wanted to learn from them.

They laughed.

"Just get a piano-"

"-so that we can teach you-"

"-to use it. That is payment enough."

"That's hardly much.." for their help. But if they felt that good enough.. "I'll get one soon, promise" real soon.

They smiled at her. Beamed, in fact.

"Good. We look forward-"

"-to sharing this with you."
