A talk with the twins - Creator's Workshop

She hadnt set foot there in ages.

The blond entered through the back door, leaving it unlocked so the brothers could make it upstairs without needing her to unlock for them. Medwyn was given a kiss and a few soft words of love from the smiling blond who hugged him and watched him leave before heading upstairs to wait and see if they would show up.

The blond pulled her legs up there she sat on the bed, rubbing her arm for a moment as she threw a sideways glance at the clock.
Maybe they wouldn't show?

She looked back at her hands, realizing one was playing with Medwyn's dog tags.

Mm, it was okay. Even if they didn't show, she'd never had a Sire before and would manage without one again. She had what mattered, she had Medwyn. A thought that made her smile softly as she brushed her thumb across the metal surface of the dog tags.

There was a soft knock at the door.

Which actually managed to startle her as it seemed her thoughts had drifted off for a moment. Or maybe two. She wasn't sure how long she'd sat like that.

The blond slipped off the be and move over to the door, her hand hovering over the handle for a moment before pulling the door open. Hoping and praying that it was them and that she wasn't about to get stabbed again or something.
In the case of the latter though, she was at least alert this time.

The two men stood there and stared at her with unblinking, blue eyes.

"Hello."

Yup, still creepy. They were still creepy.
"Hey, come in..." she said softly, holding the door for them.

They stepped inside together, looking around the room. It wasn't that they didn't trust her; they just didn't trust anyone or anything.

"Thank you. You wished to speak-"

"-with us?"





(Ooc note: They are both speaking German, but the change in color indicates the difference between the two speaking)

Which was understandable. Perhaps even more so now to the blond who had herself turned a bit more paranoid over the last few months.
Luckily, the place was small, tiny really, so they would've been able to check the whole apartment in less than a minute.

"Yeah, I..." felt a bit silly, though she did give them what was a quietly hopeful smile. "Just wanted to get to know you better. Maybe, you know, be friends... if that's... even a possibility.

They nodded.

"We understand-"

"-What would you like to know?"

"I don't really know" she admitted with a soft chuckle as she motioned towards the small kitchen table where there was room for all three of them to sit and asking if they wanted anything to drink.
"Who are you? I only know your names. Were do you come from. What do you do. Why... why would you try to save a dying girl you didn't even know?"

They laughed softly at that, exchanging another look.

"One at a-"

"-time, please."

"Where would you-"

"-like us to start?"

Yes, they were finishing each others' sentences. Welcome to true creepy twin speak.

Just... eerie really. What else could you call it? They were like one person divided into two bodies. Similar in speech, similar in appearance, and apparently so in touch with each other they didn't need to think but rather just acted as if a natural extension of the other's thoughts.

"Tell me a little about yourself?" Teddy asked softly with a smile. "Anything really"

They laughed.

"We are-"

"-musicians, of-"

"-course. We don't-"

"-perform publicly anymore-"

"-since our line is-"

"-killed on sight."

Killed on sight... and she'd always thought a lot of her kind had it rough. At least as a Caitiff you might have a chance to survive.
"What kinda music do you play?" the blond asked, resting her elbows on the table and resting her chin in her hands as she watched them with a quiet smile. She honestly sounded interested, in them really, in who they were and what they did. Wouldn't you be if you'd just found out who you owed your life to?

They smiled.

"Anything that-"

"-calls to us-"

"-at any time. Really."

"That sounds like fun" she'd always liked music, she just wasn't necessarily any good at it herself. "Think you'd let me hear you play sometime? If... it's not too personal or something?" hopefully that wasn't asking too much.

They looked at each other, then over at her.

"When?"

Oh.. they actually said yes?
"Oh, anytime you feel like it really" the girl's expression brightened, happily surprised by their answer it would seem.

They looked at each other and then back at her.

"We have our-"

"-instruments in the-"

"car."

She blinked.
"You wouldn't mind?" still surprised, very much so, but smiling. Oh she was smiling.

They looked confused again.

"Why would we-"

"-mind? It's what we-"

"-do the best."

"I feel like I'm asking a lot" Teddy smiled as she bit her lip. "I'd love to hear you play. I really would. I don't think the acoustics in here is the best but if you don't mind.... please?" she honestly looked like they were doing a huge favour.

They both smiled.

"We would love-"

"-to. Do you have-"

"-a favorite song?"

"I don't know if I have a favourite song but, I really love "I'm yours" by Jason Mraz" she smiled. She didn't have a number for all the times she'd listened to that song since meeting Medwyn actually.

Matthew left and returned a few moments later with two guitar cases. Opening it, they looked thoughtful for a second, then nodded. They started to play and sing. It wasn't Jason Mraz, but it was nearly the same sentiment, in the way of the twins.
