She gave a smile. "I think I am settled, thank you. Gonna spend some time with this here tom cat. I think I've been claimed. I'm it's kindred now."

She nodded.

"Aye. Ye'll ha' trouble movin' out, now."

This seemed to make her happy.

"Way out," she nodded.

She nodded and stood.

"I'll be lettin' ye get acquainted. He be a good boyo."

"Grace..." She looked up. "I'm a good girl, too, right? I've made mistakes... But I'm still good... aren't I?"

She leaned down to brush a hand through her hair and kissed the top of her head.

"Aye. Ye be a good lass. Foolish at times, but a good lass."

"The biggest fool," she smiled again and then turned her attention to the cat, stroking his fur gently.

She nodded.

"Love does tha'."

And then she walked out, to give Cass time alone with the kitty.

That was where she stayed for the rest of the night, all quiet and cozy.
