She nodded.

"So, tell me wha' ye been up t'? Craftin'?"

"Heh, I've not really been up to much. I hid out in Miami for a while, but with Victor taking over there I kinda ran" because it seemed the options had been run or death. And she kinda liked to live. "I've crafted some things, trying to fill orders to kill the backlog. Though I don't expect that to be a problem" since she wasn't getting that much new business on custom items anymore.

She took a breath, walking slowly as if feeling the sand beneath her feet with each step.
"And lately... been staying over at Jamie's a bit, so I can be close to Medwyn. I've visited him every two nights since he left the house.." alright so that was still a sore subject as she bit back the desire to cry when she thought of it. "But this way I can actually sleep next to him now and then... that kinda helps a little"

She nodded.

"Tha' does usually help."

"Not sure Jamie likes it heh... not as if we're married" although given that Medwyn had wanted to be embraced to be with her? How much more of a declaration of love could someone give another?

She chuckled.

"Why would Jamie ha' a problem wi' ye?"

"He's traditional?" she smiled. And a traditional Catholic prooobably had a few views on things like that. Though, she knew he was happy for them. She didn't doubt that. Though she did at times worry about offending him.

She chuckled.

"Then ge' married, silly."

"Medwyn hates weddings" she chuckled. "Besides, I don't need a ring to know I'm his. I just, I dunno. I don't wanna offend Jamie, then again, we're vampires so, I dunno what he'd think of marriage to be honest" the blond smiled gently. "Besides, I don't want something Medwyn doesn't like. I just want him"

She nodded.

"Me boyo is verra traditional, but he married after his Embrace. An' I can handfast th' two o' ye, which nay be a weddin'. Only needs th' three o' us."

"That's sweet of you..." it truly was. "I don't honestly know what Medwyn thinks of it to be honest. I've only mentioned it once when I asked him about the invitation to Grant and Raz0r's wedding" when he'd said he hated weddings. She wasn't actually sure if he had any particular beliefs when it came to marriage outside of that or anything like it.

She nodded.

"Offer be open."

"Thank you" Teddy said softly. "I really do owe you" a lot. She just wished had a way of actually repaying her somehow.

She came to a stop a few yards from the water, the wind tugging at their clothes and hair as the blond looked to the ocean.

She nodded.

"Ye be family."

Yeah, that was a great way of getting her to shut up as she looked, for a moment, as if she wanted to speak, before falling silent and looking to the ocean again. At least for a little while she was silent.
"I'm not really good family though" she said quietly after a few moments, throwing a sideways glance at the Elder with an apologetic look. "I'm a Caitiff, I failed at my job, I failed at keeping Medwyn safe, I don't even have representation. I'm like the poster girl for what to do"

She turned and took the girl's face in her hands.

"An' me brother was a drunkard who was entirely useless. He was still family, an' I still did all I could f'r him. What you d' means nothin' t' bein' family."

"I rather I wasn't the one useless wheel in the machinery though" she said softly, looking the woman in the eyes. "I mean... Jamie's the Prince, Medwyn's his Childe... You're the Scourge, Griselda's the Sheriff, Odessa's a highly respected doctor, Cassiel's like a daughter to Jamie and better than all of her Clan put together. I just, don't know what to do.." she wasn't sure she could do anything.

She smiled.

"Ye are nay our useless one. Ye are our joy. Ye are th' creator. Dinna try t' be more than tha'. Simply be, an' ye'll ne'er disappoint any again."

She' never tried to be more than she was, other's had tried to make her into more than she was and well, the results sucked to be quite honest.

The blond gave a small nod of her head.
"I try.."

She nodded and kissed her forehead.

"Ye need a kitten or three."

Oh, oh Medwyn hated cats.
She chuckled though and bit her lip as she looked up at her again.
"I'm not sure Ed and Eddie would agree to having a cat in the house"

She chuckled.

"Aye, likely."

And Medwyn certainly wouldn't agree, though, no need to say that.
"I'll come visit the kittens at your place instead" without Ed and Eddie to interfere and act all jealous.

She nodded.

"Me house be given o'er t' a cat colony."

"Sounds reassuring" she placed the towels down to give them something to sit on. "Hair balls everywhere?" she sat down, feet burying into the sand a bit more.

She sat and looked out over the ocean.

"A few, aye."
